Israel lives in a rough neighborhood. That is why they shoot unsuccessful terrorists even when they are fleeing so they don't get a second chance at another terror attack in the future.

Ahh, you mean the children that Hamas used as human shields in schools, errr, I mean secret military installations to protect their stockpiles and tunnels... Now I understand, troll.
Same script. Same rationalization. Hasbara ain't what it used to be. But, the great thing about zionism for people like you is that it allows you to dehumanize children of different faiths and absolve occupation soldiers of responsibility to such a degree that they can kill them and blame others effortlessly. That's what you look for in a racist and supremacist ideology.

So writing that I'm sure someone will disagree with what I said means both that what they say is a "scripted rationalization" and also means that you predicted what it was that they would actually write?

Do you actually believe nonsense such as you posted.
Most people would regard rationalizing the murder of 600 children over a three week period as much more troubling than just nonsense. Dehumanization of others is a necessary step if you want to justify and absolve Israel's actions.

Changing the subject?
You DO realize that this thread subject is "Hamas is scum", don't you?
It looks like I am right on topic.
And, furthermore, that it was Gryfin who brought up the Palestinian children who died as a result of Hamas' terrorist activities last summer.

And again, your evidence that the Synagogue where the murders took place this morning was being used to fire rockets into the eastern neighbourhoods of Jerusalem or into the West Bank which would allow you to make the comparison to Gaza is what?

Using the same tired hasbara that dehumanizes the 600 murdered Palestinian children is not an effective strategy.

I'm aware what this thread is about.
Got sidetracked when I saw you whining about gryfin and began your inane dissertation about Prediction vs Deflection which
progressed to some hypocritical accusation on your part.
It seems YOU didn't realize what the thread subject was but I'm glad to see
that it's finally come to your attention.

Hamas is scum. But in Palestine, Israel was the first use terrorism ....
If you don't consider riots against ancient Jewish communities terrorism you might have an argument. Of course in the 20's and 30's Arab leaders were doing exactly that and to make it worse, the rioters didn't go after newly arrived though legal immigrants, they went after the Jewish communities in hebron and jerusalem that had always been there.

And mainstream Israeli culture has always been against terrorism. Irgun and Lehi were widely criticized amongst Jews in the Mandate and were forcibly disarmed by Israel pretty much as soon as Israel existed. And even still the vast majority of attacks on the Brits were against soldiers, not civilians. On the other hand, Hamas IS the Palestinian government (or one of them).

Your right, Hamas is scum.

That said, I see nothing wrong at all with the quotes attributed to Abbas in that article - I'm not a fan but I thought he said very reasonable things.

OTB
You think his claims about Israel 'invading' Al Aqsa Mosque are reasonable? Seems like pretty clear incitement to me.

So do you have any comment on what the thread is about? You know; an attack on some old men in a holy place and Hamas praising it?
What are you, the hall monitor?
What makes you think my comments were intended for your consideration?

What makes you refuse to answer a simple question?

And why would I think comments posted publicly in a forum were actually meant to be read.

Can you believe after 5 months they still didn't investigate the Palestinian rockets hidden in the UN schools? Hamas are scum also for using their human shield civilians to collect money from the world, this time they collected 4.8 billions. According to Forbes Hamas is the second richest terrorist group in the World. Yet they won't look after their civilians, they use it to buy arms and cement to build tunnels.

Five months on, no answers on how rockets got into Gaza schools
