So america will become a big Honduras or San Salvador where your life is on the line everyday. And where rich people barricade themselves. Nice society indeed...
Here's something that will really blow your hair back- as the crime rates increase so is the opposition to gun control.

Or you just legislate the shit out of the 'well regulated' part of the amendment.

After all these years and you still don't get how the American constitutional amendment process works. Yikes!

And you think they could ever remove the second?
Of course- not remove, but repeal. But that will never happen with mobs looting.stores.

You're still on this? It's not the same thing. Let me spell it out for you; driving restrictions with regards to the misuse of alcohol, happen after the commission of an offense. Show me an instance where police have gone to someone's home to seize their vehicle to preemptively stop the potential commission of an offense and you might have a point.

I see you avoided the carding/stop-and-frisk issue like the plague.

Otherwise, it's not a "paranoid conspiracy" as you clearly want to bypass due process because of your own paranoia surrounding gun ownership.
Again, if you want to compare guns to cars, an even start would be when guns need to be licensed, registered, and insured. Drivers while drunk lose the privilege of driving while drunk. Gun owners in mental health crisis should also lose their privilege. Thankfully 20 states agree with me and another 13 have them in the process.

Do you think people with a documented history of mental health issues where family and medical professionals see them as a threat to the public should be allowed to keep their guns?

It's hilarious because the regular carnage of the mostly black people who lose their lives on daily basis means nothing- can't be used to push an agenda.
Yes, it's sad that the deaths of black people don't move the needle. You know, systemic racism.

But do you understand why people are more concerned when schools get shot up that when gangsters shoot each other?

Actually, you couldn't be more wrong. I provided THE solution many times: a constitutional amendment repealing the 2nd amendment. It's the only way. You on the other hand, are providing wishful thinking.
There is nothing preventing the SCOTUS from interpreting the 2nd based on the phrase "well regulated" (other than loads of gun lobby cash).

But the SCOTUS will no do that because they've already decided the matter. And even IF you get a liberal court to fulfill your wish, a subsequent conservative court will simply reverse it. That's why the only answer is repeal. And don't forget Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness includes the security of oneself. On the other hand, a constitutional amendment becomes part of the constitution with a heavy duty ratification process that cannot be changed without the equal and opposite political and social support. So, if the gun control advocates were serious, they'd make the repeal of the 2nd part of their platform.

My 75 y.o. neighbor is in the same boat. Might have the urge to pull a slice of pizza on someone or assault somebody for a donut.

No wake up necessary. People are replaceable. No biggie. Guns are more important.

P.s. American are too idiots to understand the problem.

I bet you don't have actual stats to back this up. In before, "households with guns are more likely to be shot by their own gun" bullshit.

Define "documented history of mental health issues...etc." don't forget there are people making the argument that wanting to transition should be considered a "mental health issue". Are you for denying "John" his constitutional right in the US, simply because they're considering becoming "Jane"?

Back to the stop-and-frisk; if you support proactive, preventative measures like red flag laws, surely you support other proactive public safety measures like stop-and-frisk or carding, right? [/sarcasm]

As the gun conTROLLs like to say, "if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about."
