Open carry is the law. If you don't like it you can advocate for a change, but you may not demand for the law to be ignored because you're scared.
Had no idea you could carry it every place. Is that why they have metal detectors and that sort and search you before you enter some these types of buildings?

Oh, does open carry apply to Covid19 spitting in the face of a police officer, pray tell??

In an open carry state it’s not so much a necessity as a right.

How many people were shot?
No one because the cops went on their proverbial knees and bowed to the neo-Nazis, showing much deference and submission.

And not for the first either!

Perhaps if the cops had pushed back and showed aggression, then someone definitely would have got shot...right??????????

You are right. But what was the reason that they brought them? Just because they have the right to is not a reason. They have a right to bring a fishing rod and a set of darts as well, but nobody did. They brought guns.
They wanted to trigger liberal pussies, by this thread I’d say, mission accomplished

For being in fear for their lives. You know...the 'usual' playbook.

I mean they've beaten pregnant or homeless women; and thrown 13 year old girls (sitting down and refusing to stand up) across rooms while still sitting school chairs...or knelt in their backs...and so on and so forth.

Yeah, why would they show aggression.

Why can't it be a reason? They are exercising their constitutional rights. It's a symbol of freedom. It goes back to how their country was founded. When they feel their Democracy is threatened by a lock down, out come the guns, fatigues and flags. Not something I would do but I'm not American. It's pathetic we try to push our values on other countries. I wonder where the outrage is against other countries that are much worse.
They had the right to bring swastikas and nooses as well. I guess you also believe they were simply exercising their constitutional rights. They were very fine people according to your fearless leader.

Can you read? My quote says I DON'T agree with them but they have that right. Stick to the Israel threads, you're lost everywhere else. You didn't even read my post yet criticized me for it. That's what's good about Democracy we can do whatever we want as long as it's legal. It's not something I would do but I don't begrudge anyone else for doing what they want to do. Why should anybody care what you think? Are you special?
Sorry but you sure as hell are defending them doing it as a 'right'.

And funny you talk about rights to do what's legal while telling me to leave threads where you embarrass yourself.

And you are really trying to say the guns are supposed to be in defense of democracy?

Yes, the anti-government militia groups involved were just in it for the social media posts. :der:

p.s. needing a gun to protest seems pretty pussy to me.

And as long as they all die together from the virus they are welcome to fulfilling their mission.
But if they spread it more, that's different.

They aren't smart enough for that.

Actually it was intimidation at best and at worst to use in case someone didn't like their protest. I think one of those idiots killed a Dollar Store employee for telling them they had to wear a mask in, you guessed it, MICHIGAN.

Well they sure "triggered" that pussy. I guess that is what you meant. You and your idiotic glib excuses. Get real for once.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nati...ause-he-wouldnt-let-woman-store-without-mask/

A Family Dollar store security guard who was killed in Flint, Mich., on Friday was shot after telling a customer that her child had to wear a face mask to enter the store, the county prosecutor’s office said Monday.

You'll probably say he deserved it because he was infringing on their rights.

Um, isn't the argument that the US has more rights including the right to carry guns as an implicit threat to democracy?
America is not a democracy. It's a constitutional republic that clearly spells out what the government may not do. Like infringing on its citizens rights to free assembly, free speech and, yes, keeping deadly weapons for pleasure, defence or no reason at all.

America is not a democracy.
Not any more, it ain't. After almost 250 years of declaring themselves the greatest democracy in the history of the world.

We are happy to let Americans live however they want. (we cannot change them anyway), it is just of the scale insane.

You are welcomed to your freedom. I prefer the tyranny of Canada, UK, Germany, and the rest of the 1st world.

USA has become a banana republic.
To you are I it may be insane but to them it's not, just like for some eating bats is acceptable, to me it's insane.

It's not.

They could have brought a Scrabble board or a George Foreman grill or a million other things. But they decided to bring guns more than any other thing. Why were guns the predominant item?

There must have been a common element running through their thought process to all come to the same conclusion of, "I will bring my gun". I am simply asking, what was that common element. It is a perfectly valid question.
A scrabble board or grill isn't a symbol of freedom. a gun and a flag are. If they think their constitutional rights are being threatened out come the flags and the guns. " Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness" is what it comes down to. Americans don't like being told what to do.

We can agree on the gun part. Food is notoriously culturally determined. Anything that eat mosquitoes I love and protect.
