But has never walked 50 yards into the brush, enough to know. You usually can’t see 50 yards into the brush for a clear shot, let alone so much more I might mention.
...
Right. That's why I had the stupid idea that you could charge a bolt action in that distance. o_O

Sorry but the only justification you gave for semi-auto hunting rifles was because you may need to track down a wounded animal which is clearly nonsensical, especially after admitting your choice is a lever action.

Manual action firearms don't have to have a minimum barrel length of 470mm to be classified non-restricted in Canada. A lever action can make for a quick, handy brush gun; nevermind that it will have a wider selection of hunting calibres.

Stick to drinking by the campfire; you're clearly out of your element.

And how does that explain your insistence that semi-auto hunting rifles are essential?

how does anything you’ve said, without any kind of data, actual knowledge, anything. Anything at all, suggest getting rid of them is needed or even beneficial. All you have is your “word”…….

Besides demonstrating you do know very very little. And that’s “ok” in the sense not everyone knows everything. Maybe just me, but I don’t try to tell people who know “I know better”…and if they can show data, shows reasons why X won’t do much…amongst many other things.

17 pages now. Oddly closec to the 20+ yers of this while people have been dying, street gangs getting worse……And not one. Not one single “argument” supported by anything..that might reasonably show why it would be even beneficial, let alone needed.

“just saying”

Essential, show me when I've ever said that. I don't share your irrational paranoia of semi-autos.

But Canadian Law does hamper and discourage semi-auto usage, at least for citizens; the government clearly doesn't have a problem equipping their own with "assault rifles".

Rules for thee, not for me.

And my research. Better than your best excuse that you can't walk 50 yards and charge a bolt at the same time so need a semi.

Bolt actions are preferred when you can see….and might/will be shooting at something 200+ yards away…Say like Moose across and over yonder..If you have ever spent any amount of time with a loaded rifle, away from the booze and in the woods…..you would actually know that………would have. The fact you can’t even grasp the concept of sight lines/distance…..probably can’t even guess why we wear high vis orange……..

“charge”……..omg lol. What the hell, we have laser rifles now? Too many video games…

basket case. Stick to what you know. And you seriously, as a human being need to learn to stop trying to tell people who do know better. In this case a lot better. “That you know better”.

And isn’t it funny, no actual data, no actual anything. Except charge a rifle…..I wish there was an emoji for spewing coffee over a keyboard

Do you normally shoot at things you can't see? Says a lot about 'law abiding' gun owners.

BTW. Another bullshit excuse from you. Semi-auto's are only relevant if you need to rapidly take multiple shots.
Do you use your brain?
Bolt actions ( longer barrels, usually scoped) for both extra range, and accuracy at range. You know….”sniper rifles”….And because you have proven many times you know Jack about firearms. Clearly you don’t know that when bullits leave the barrel they go up…….before gravity starts to bring them down ( sorry, forgot…you think they are laser beams)…..and we “zero” them in for a specific yardage…usually 200 yards but some guys 100 yards “depending”……And then we use Mildots, to adjust for anything out past 200 yards….or 100 as the case may be..

I doubt you have ever, tried to acquire a target through a scope at any range, let alone close range in forest/brush where you can’t see………..( think about it if you can)…

I’m sure you just charge them while playing your video games while drinking around them…..…And still, nothing, that supports “your argument”…other than now very childish, very weak, attempts at “rebuttals”…

Which are responsibly used.
Unless they aren't.

Again, society has the jobs of balancing threats to society with freedoms. Huge amounts of weaponry in Canada are banned because their threat outweighs their utility. I know you see any gun restriction as an attempt to 'grab' you guns but if you don't like what the laws are, wither get politically active with the Canadian NRA wannabes or move down south.

Wow. the first part of your post is just off-topic rambling strawmen to try and make yourself seem intelligent and the second half undermines your whole argument for semi-autos. Just let me know where you're hunting so I can avoid your spray and pray hunting style.
