This was well understood way before Greta came into the spotlight. Influence
of Greta's climate movement is more profound than reminding people the merit
of curtailment of dumping carbon dioxide into the environment.
Well, then at least Greta has brought out more urgency in this respect towards moving to Greener Energy. Take a nation like Norway for example and they are well ahead in the race towards enforcing less green house emissions in their jurisdictions and investing towards that technology despite having a glut of oil!!

They attacked and he repelled the attack.

Probably best not to attack a guy with an AR15 who is prepared to use it.

Just sayin...
"Dis guy threw a plastic bag at me, so aye killed him cause ai feeeeered fer meh life"

"Den dis udder guy was a'chasin me after aye killed the plastic bag thrower, so ai killed him 2 cause aye feeered fer my life"

"So after ai's kills these 2 guyz a'nudder guy waza a'chasin meh, so ai's also tries to kill him but my's aim a'waza off"

KR set the precedent.
Protesters in the US should now all show up with semi automatics 'for their own safety'.

Because if right wingers think sending in teenagers with semis is fine, everyone else is probably thinking its time they came in armed too.

That's what you want?
It's all their right to.

We must watch this kid's every move with caution. Global
carbon emission has continued growing relentlessly with no
end in sight since Greta kick started the climate movement as
a 15 year old. Her influence will continue to be felt in world climate
politics for some more years.
Yesh, ya must watch this lil' gurl's every move.

Be afraid, very afraid.

What a load of BS.
Look into the history of Greta's campaign. Political leaders who
heeded Greta's call for urgent action all invariably moved on to
grow carbon emission and fossil fuel extraction. Greta doesn't
support the Greens in Swden, Germany, Canada, the U.S. and
pretty much everywhere. Be cautious with politicians' promises
of zero emission when you are ready to vote in the next election.

First, if Greta wasn't even a factor, the climate would have continued changing. Her influence is vast, yes, but not vast enough to change our ways in either direction. Stop that.

Second, why do we have to watch Greta? Wouldn't it be better to watch polluters and illegal hunters?

Christ, it is no wonder the climate is changing. So much denial, we should make it a crypto currency.....ShirkCoin.....

You don't have to be afraid of Greta and you shouldn't be. Just don't let
yourself be suckered by her call for urgent action like other climate
sheeple. In reality climate sheeple's response to Greta's call is rarely
climate action aimed to reduce their carbon footprint. Their more
likely answer to Greta's call is to lend their support to our climate
hypocrite political leaders.

After climate hypocrisy Norway is ahead of the rest of the world
in drilling for oil in regions that no serious environmentalists
would support.

Unfortunately well-meaning climate activists are no match to the world's
leader of climate hypocrisy.

Seeing how good Norway is in deep water drilling Trudeau and
Steven Guilbeault have entrusted Norway to pillage our offshore
oil resources in Newfoundland. You can count on Norway to help
us to squeeze our deep water fields to the last drop.

In comparing Norway to other countries you have to understand
it is one of the few nations uniquely positioned to transition away
from fossil fuel painlessly.

Firstly, Norway's economy other than oil and gas production isn't
dependent on energy intensive heavy industry like Germany. Secondly,
Norway is blessed with rich water hydro power resources. With a small
population Norway's would not require intensive capital expenditure
beyond their means to complete its transition to renewable energy.

So let us use the what really happened translator for this left brained member.

A convicted pedophile who the day before got released after serving 11 years in prison decides to attend a riot where he verbally threatens the young Kyle. Then later he chases Kyle saying he's going to kill him. Upon catching up with him Mr. Pedo lunges for the gun and then gets shot. One less Pedo on the Earth cool...

Rittenhouse then decides to get the hell out of Dodge and runs towards the police to ostensibly turn himself in. But he falls. The second rioter in chase then tries to smash him over the head with his skateboard. But misses and Kyle neutralizes him with a fatal shot. The lesson. Don't bring a skateboard to a gunfight.

Then rioter number three approaches Rittenhouse with a handgun pointed at him so Kyle shoots him through the bicep. First missed shot of the night. Probably needs more range work. Still I bet that smarted but look at the bright side the DA dropped the outstanding charges against him in lieu of his testimony against our hero. It didn't work though as a jury of his peers found Kyle not guilty on all counts.

No blessing of Greta could save her generation from climate
catastrophe if the threat of climate change is as urgent as she
seems to believe. Be afraid, very very afraid for her unless you
are sure global carbon emission is to be halved within this decade.

What I can do to help is to remind people going
along with Greta has not been helpful and will not
bring down global carbon emission.

Greta has offered a novel solution to climate change in her
climate book. One of her lackeys has proposed 3.5% of
the population as the critical number for a sufficient mass of
people to be mobilized for her climate movement to succeed
finally. When faced with such solution the best I can do to help is
to say 'don't do it'.You would get more than what you wish for
if a million people across the country took to the street to
demand Trudeau's government to solve the climate crisis.
