Crazy how fast COVID can kill someone at that age. She looked great right up until the end. Certainly looked great and likely had many more years to enjoy life. RIP
I read somewhere that Dawn Wells insisted on a percentage of the show, as opposed to a salary. I also read she was the only one to do so. Her husband practically begged her to opt for a percentage, because he was in the business and he knew this was the way to go. I don't know how true that info was. I also heard that royalty payments decrease over time. I am only a consumer of entertainment, and to quote Sgt. Schultz- I know NOTH-ing.
Incidentally, the Schultz actor - John Banner, made his final TV appearance on the Partridge Family.
