Way hotter than Ginger. She was at Vancouver Pacific Mall back in the 80's for a book signing or something. Saw her sitting at a table marketing whatever she was selling. Very prim and proper in a pant suit. No short shorts. sigh.
Did you know.... that Carroll O'Connor AKA Archie Bunker auditioned for the part of Skipper.
The part went to Alan Hale. He is the father of Tony Hale. Tony had a regular part in the series Veep, and Arrested Development, to name two shows.

Wasn't married, had no kids, had $50k to her name. "She was living in an assisted living facility and already lost her home due to her [IRS] debts." Another victim of long-term care homes, which apparently don't take any precautions against covid.

Harsh. She seemed like perfect "wife" material. Had looks and sweet personality going for her. Show stopped production in 1967. Long stretch to be unemployed.
There are definitely none like her ideal among the Strippers, MPAs and SPs that us hobbyists see. Jokes aside, I remember watching this after school almost every day.

I am surprised that she got no residuals when Gilligan Island went into syndication? Did Sherwood Schwartz take all the money?
That's probably why current actors work toward production credits. I've mentioned how Viggo Mortensen and Daniel Radcliffe got very rich from their franchises. Bryan Cranston has a production credits on the majority of Breaking Bad's episodes, same goes with Adam Samberg with Brooklyn 99. And everyone knows how fabulously wealthy Jerry Sinefeld became. Now Tom Hardy is taking the biggest risk of his career, if he succeeds he'll become one of Hollywood's wealthiest apex actors.

The entire cast of Seinfeld get virtually nothing in residuals for the syndication of the show, except for Seinfeld (and co-creator Larry) who both get paid handily from it. The rest of the cast has earned a few hundred thousand between all of them. The syndication has earned over $3 billion in total. Mind you, the cast agreed to and got paid handsome per-season/episode deals, but those residuals would have made them much richer.
Aaron Paul and Bob Odenkirk got substantial raises for the final two seasons of Breaking Bad but it was no where near the money Vince Gilligan and Bryan Cranston made. Aaron Paul took production credits on the show The Path of which he was the star but that show didn't bring in the ratings. I haven't watched Better Call Saul yet, don't know if Odenkirk is taking production credits for that.
The sweetest scene in Breaking Bad - which led to Walter White crossing his Rubicon. Like I said, I'm a simple man when it comes to female sexy attire and Krysten Ritter rocked the long sweat shirt.
