Can any of you guys suggest some Christmas gift ideas for my husband?

I don't want to do the boring sweater or wallet thing.

Thanks.

He knows about TERB. I set up an account for him which I think he's afraid to use 'cause he knows I'm a hacker. However, he might be lurking!

THis is a serious question!

awww dang so I guess I better not say a case of beer. On a serious note does he have any hobbies? Would he be interested in movies? Would you allow him to watch porn if so put a sexy item for yourself inside with it and tell him it is for him for a good night? Other than that I think men are hard to shop for unless you really know them.

I don't care if he watches porn. We've even watched it together. I did the sexy lingerie etc. for his birthday a couple of months ago which went over well. However, maybe a night away from the kids at a nice hotel might be the ticket! Thanks.

Men are so hard to shop for!

Perhaps a few questions for you to answer before we can answer yours:

1. What is your budget?
2. Do you want the gift to be for him only or incorporate you as well?
3. Is he more of a sentimental type or material type?
4. What did you get him last year?
5. Will you divorce him and marry me? LOL

Answer these and I will seriously give you some good suggestions...I am pretty good at gift selection...:)

Take him away for a sex weekend at a romantic winter ski resort with a hot tub on the balcony. Turn off his cell phone... leave the laptop at home... throw the blackberry away... don't get a room without a television or radio. Pamper to his every need... make dinner for him wearing just an apron. Candlelight... soft music... and then take advantage of him. The best present you could get him would be you. :p

our secret getaway is in Kingston, the Fireside Inn. They have very nice rooms with fireplaces, there is a great restaurant, and they have theme rooms with jacuzzis and big screen TVs. Rooms like the Lords and Ladies (bed is in a Rolls Royce), and the 2 story Balloon room (Bed inside a hot air balloon, with a TV above you). Very cool, a bit expensive, but very cool. We've been going there for years.Only a two hour drive. Or take the train and taxi it. You could make this quite decadent and sexy. All the best.

I've already got a couple of small gifts so I'm thinking something of spending maybe $200-250 more. It would be just for him and I'm not sure whether he's sentimental or material. Last year, he got slippers, PJs, CDs, some nice shirts and some sort of hardware bench/table thing that I have no idea what it's called or what it does.

Sure I'll marry you. LOL!! I come with a 6 year old and an almost 4 year old.

Men are easy to shop for! I'd say an hour or two with an SP, but from what you said here, he is lucky to have you!:p

A gift certificate from one of Golf Town, Home Depot/Rona, or The Bass Pro Shop. Buy me one of those and I'll marry you!

Well, although I would need to know more about your hubbie to give you really good suggestions...here are a few that fit the given criteria and budget:

1. nice engraved bathrobe
2. take a nice black and white photo of you and the kids and mount it....not a cheap frame but nice mounted photography frame
3. engraved pen
4. a Cleveland 60 degree lob wedge (golf club) every golfer needs one
5. $200-$250 will also get you a nice car wax and detail

Just a few very quick gift ideas. If I knew more about the guy, I could give better suggesstions. Hope this helps...

I repeatedly tell my "on again/off again" g/f (who never knows what to get me) that anything I want, I've probably already got, and if I can't afford it, she certainly can't. What I never have enough of is "quality time". I "dirty weekend" away with your man will be a big hit. Nothing like a good meal, a bottle of wine, a big bed and your Sweetie! Oh, and a new sex toy to share ;)

Ask him how we would spend most of his time if he didn't have to work for living.

His answer(s) should give you some further insight into possible great gift ideas.

Hi-thanks for the ideas. I bought him a set of Mizuno clubs a few years ago. Would the Cleveland lob wedge be part of that set or is it something different?? Thanks.
