I'm about to start knocking on my 40s and I've noticed that the big O is really going down lately, it's not stress or being tired because it's been happening consistently lately. Avoiding sex use to guarantee a big finish the next time but also not lately. Any one have any ideas how I can get it back, I don't have to be back to my 20s but I don't think it's normal to have such a huge drop off at only 40. My desire is fine, I still get turned on by the same stuff and I'm just as horny but when actually getting it on it's just blah at the end

Is this major drop off normal? Any tips to get me back up?

If you think that's bad wait till your late 60's. Sigh.

Ask your doctor to check your testosterone levels. Simple blood test. If your levels are low, that may be the answer. Easily correctable.

I receive regular testosterone injections that really pump up my libido and give me more energy and ramp up my workouts.

... sigh

Actually I was checking on some of those testosterone supplements but I've heard that the results vary, injections now that's something I've never really thought about.

It's natural. I'm 37 now and I have to work out real hard in the gym to bring my T levels back to a fraction of what it was at 30. Back then I'd wake up with wood every morning. I could fuck every other day or else my balls would hurt. I just had to have as much release as possible and I'd still wake up hard every morning. Now twice or thrice a week is what I need unless I ramp up squats and leg workouts in the gym. I can only imagine it will get worse.

There's no substitute for youth.

Another thing that I find helps (mid 40s here) is giving myself the occasional break. If I spank it or otherwise get off on a daily basis for too many days, the quality of the orgasm suffers. But if I take a few (or several) days off, things improve.

In a house somewhere
I am in my 50's and my orgasms are as strong as ever. I workout regularly so I believe that may be a good thing. I have no problem getting hard. My only problem is lack of, shall we say, volume.

Did you gain weight, or are you overweight?

It could be a sort of warning that you need to go on a diet.

Try maca. Unlike other supplements, it's completely natural, and it works. It also increases the volume of ejaculate.

I pushing 40 and had similar concerns last year and tried a few things to varying effect. My concern was mainly around volume and quality of orgasm; no issue with libido or erection.

Zinc supplements, drinking more water and less booze/coffee, and a spoon of wheat germ on my morning oatmeal helped. Exercising regularly and eating well make a big fifference too.

I also noticed a slide when I hit 40.

It's like an alarm clock goes off. In my 20's, I was unstoppable. Spanked it every day, sometimes more, had sex as much as humanely possible, (My record was 5 different women in a 7 day period, all of them civilians by the way, there is no challenge to paying for it.) I lived for sex. I would cum and not lose my hard on. 30's was pretty much a continuation of 20's though I started to lose wood after I came (which I had always believed to be normal, so I didn't sweat it.)

But 40's. I started wane. I must admit. At least compared to before. I also started to get sick of female drama and no longer thought women to be these goddess-like creatures that I would worship. (Maybe hobbying did that to me as well, or at least partly was responsible.)

Part of it is natural, but part is also lifestyle, things in life just "add up" and it affects the cock. As you get older, if you're not hitting on all 8 cylinders, the first thing that your body shuts down is the cock. You need the right attitude, the right amount of sleep, a reasonable diet, no smoke, no drugs, not too much booze, things aren't weighing on your conscience. Then your cock works.

This decline gives increased business to the legit places where experienced often older women can work wonders due to their experience and understanding. Also these women cannot compete with the younger more beautiful but inexperienced women in terms of youth. There is a market for all seasons. Viagra is a game changer for some though.

Did that in my youth but now that trick doesn't work anymore. Was too busy once for two months to get off and was expecting an explosion but then when it happened it was more like a puff of air than an explosion

Not really maybe gained 5 lbs in the last 10 years. I little more than my weight should be but i've always been heavier than the "norm" even in high school.

Have tried viagra but it does nothing to finishing. Delays it a bit but that's about it.
