If I wake up without aches and pains.... I worry
I find things haven't really changed much.
I've been waking up stiff since I was about 10

I know the feeling. I've gone to 10 funerals in the last 5 years. 4 in one year. i honestly tell people I'm cursed and anyone that comes close to me increases their chances of dying by about 90% :(

The best thing about senility is that you get to hide your own Easter eggs.

Patient goes to his doctor.

Doctor: I have bad news for you.
Patient: What is it?
Doctor: Two things. One, you have cancer, and two, you have alzheimers.
Patient, Oh no!...Well...at least I don't have cancer.

Maybe you ran with the wrong crowd.

Funerals were more frequent when I was in my 20s and early 30s -- skydiving, motorcycles, racing, drugs, gun fights. Those of us who made it past that point are probably more predisposed to longevity. Darwinism in action?

..c..

I remember feeling really old back in 2000 going into a bar that had retro 90’s night. Then I thought were these people born yesterday? What is so retro about the 90’s?
Some of my staff got into a conversation about music and referred to Nirvana as "classic rock". WTF? It's bad enough when they think Boston and The Eagles are "oldies".

Going to funerals doesnt really bother me - look on the bright side, at least its not yours.

The best part about Alzheimer's is that you get to meet new people every day.

What age is old? A friend of mine's co-worker had an brain aneurysm and died in her sleep. She was 21. Our computer programmer has a family member with cancer who will most likely die within 6 months. She is 42.

Life is precious and although some of you say you wake up with aches and pains, at least your wake up.
