It's an interesting thought. I think if Michelle really wanted the nomination it would be hers. She's the only Democrat that could step in front of Kamala without there being a lot of bitching and whining.There's also the angle that Barrack was the one who pressured Biden to withdraw thinking MIchelle would be endorsed but Biden in return blind sided them and endorsed kamala...not sure how true is that...
In regards to your point that Kamala has a real shot at beating Trump, of course she does. The race is where it was before Biden started melting down. We had old & slipping versus loud & obnoxious. Voila! Dems insert young & occasionally silly and the focus is back on Trump's negatives.
Kamala has to be careful how she plays her previous positions and her Senate record. As a commentator said, the Democrats have traded some Pennsylvania voters for some California voters. Regardless of her 2020 campaign, losing candidates are allowed resets. Let's see what she does with it.
