R. Budd Dwyer was a State Treasurer in Pennsylvania who was accused of bribery. At a press conference he pulled out a gun, placed it in his mouth and pulled the trigger. It happened while local news stations filmed the news conference. I wanted to post a link to the story, but they all contained video of the incident which I don't want to post. Years later there was evidence he was not guilty of the charge. Tragic.

Nope, it had 11 regular cast members, but only 7 were Canadian
Joe Flaherty, Andrea Martin, and Harold Ramis are Americans, Tony Rosato was from Italy

I am tempted to say "Bizarre" as well but I think that John Byner and Bob Einstein are/were both American.....
