Who am I?

I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 14, 1948. In the 1970's, I played Professional football in the NFL and the CFL. In the 1980's, I hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live. In the 1990's, I was a main cast character on two different TV shows, (44 and 28 episodes). In the 2000's, I played a fictional version of myself on a sitcom. I am best known for a role I portrayed in four different theatrical films.

What dollar amount was Lorne Michaels' final offer to The Beatles to reunite and play three songs on Saturday Night Live?

Nope. (but he did offer them that amount).
I remember that Michaels told them that they didn't have to share the money with Ringo if they didn't want to.

I remember that Michaels told them that they didn't have to share the money with Ringo if they didn't want to.
Lorne said they could give Ringo less:

This is the $3,000 offer, but not the final offer.

shack, I'm surprised you didn't get this one!
Even now that you mentioned it, it is still just vaguely familiar to me.
