How did he throw her under the bus? I did not hear him say ANYTHING bad about her. He wanted her to remain deputy PM and lead Canada US relations at a super critical time. How is that throwing her under the bus?
He was, by proxy, going to have her take the blame for a 50% deficit overkill, after the latest failed cash giveaway attempt.

I think he is also planning his own walk in the snow and was planning to Kim Campbell her. Sometime after Christmas. Now realistically there is no one to take up leadership. If he walks away his tarnished legacy will get even worse. He will be persona non grata in Liberal circles. No speaking engagements, no Obamaesque elder statemen status. No international reputation for a plum diplomatic position.

Cripes he is so done already. But it can get worse.

She was the finance minister, it was her budget and her deficit projection. So now you are against holding ministers accountable? She was being given another important role.

It was his budget, his policies, and you are doing exactly what I said, projecting the fault on her.

Nobody is buying it Notty. The PM is not going to be able to save himself.

WTF do you think the finance minister does? If she was not in agreement with the policies and projections last budget then she should have resigned then. When you accept the post you accept MINISTERIAL RESPONSIBILITY. if she could not stand up to him then its on her. If you present a budget in parliament YOU OWN IT.

I don't like Trudeau and not supporting him.
But Freeland did is all drama and agree with Notty.
She was all along with Trudeau and his policies. Now suddenly she realized . All bullshit drama queen. Who posts resignation letters in social media ?
She had the responsibility to handle the books.
Isn't it she announced 5bn aid to Ukaraine recently.
Now she is quoting politicial gimmicks and pointing to her master ?

Her grandfather was a Nazi, he took over a newspaper when the NAZI murdered the Jewish owners, thats how Christia Freeland ended up in Journalism. She is a known Ukrainian nationalist and supporter of the Bandera movement. Look them up. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/freeland-nationalist-scarf-1.6372995

Non sanatized pic below:

For years you didn't have a problem with her, now you bring up a picture from over 2 years ago at a rally for Ucraine with John Tory claiming she's a Nazi because her Grandfather was a nazi. Its hypocritical of you to do that just because you're bitter that she broke up with Trudno. She stated we condemn all far right and extremist views at the time. Its too late for that. But you're sure full of hatred for her.

Yes its likely over but thats not the point, it was over before this incident. Fact is you are saying a minister is not responsible and Freeland is some vulenrable weak person. She was integral to the policies you opposed and now you are defending her.

When cabinet falls apart this bad? They couldn't find anyone to read it in Parliament! Trudeau, with his self promotion is the only fall guy now. It doesn't matter. His brand is so toxic to the electorate he is going to be blamed.

Buck stops there.

Vulnerable? No. In fact she acted just like the PM would. Which is the point. He pucked her because she went along with him. She enacted his desires for policy. Only now those policies are just another coffin nail.

Cripes "likely"?!?!? What the hell do you think can save him?

Well Trudeau should have fired her after she read it, but I think Trudeau expected her (rightly) to offer him her resignation but she did not.

People actually asking PP some hard questions, Liberals and NDP agreeing to run strategically and not oppose each other, or a meteorite striking PP. lol She went along with it, so when it did not pan out she she should have offered to resign. Its the job of the minister to defend the PM and take the bullet. He offered her a face saving way out. She spat in his face. THE END.

I always had a problem with her, I never liked Freeland. Nothing new with me disliking her. Its not just the fact her grandfather was a Nazi, she supports many Ukrainain nationalist initiatives that are rife with Bandera glorification, and view the Bandera movement as in independance movement while ignoring its particpation in the holocaust and genocidal activities against Poles.

Sure, but you never complained about it, only now that she's no longer loyal to Trudno you're fuming.

He fired her over Zoom. And didn't have to guts to show up to parliament. He is now at the gutless coward stage.

No one can save Trudeau.
He is an idiot and stubborn.
Freeland is cunning and opportunist. Don't feel sorry or support her.

Lol. Press has done everything they can. He just stands there eating apples and making them look stupid and out of touch. They keep asking him the wrong questions.

He has control over the Conservative Caucus. He has control over messaging. And he now sitting back and watching the implosion.

A PM that doesn't have control over his caucus the way Trudeau has lost control is a bad leader who is done. That is the reality of Canadian politics.

PP will make his rich friends richer, exactly like Trump. and cut everything possible for common people. PP is a lifetime politician. He knows the game. Nothing good will come out of him.
How much did the 'common' man prosper under Trump before Covid19 hit in March 2020? Here's your answer
Real median incomes United States (by year/median real income/ % increase/% cumulative increase)
2017 $39,110 1.0% increase 1.00%
2018 $40,430 3.4% increase 4.40%
2019 $42,350 4.75% increase 9.15%
That's an average of 3.05% per year. The best 3 year run of the 21st century. Until China and the U.N. unleashed Covid19 on the world.

Conversely, under Obama's 8 years real incomes only rose a total of 6.7% (0.84% per year). 7.24% of that came in 2015 and 2016 meaning that people had lower median income at the beginning of 2015 than they did at the beginning of 2009. 6 long years of misery.
