What is it about the Liberal party that makes Liberals want to vote for the NDP?
I'd like a disenchanted Liberal's honest point of view on this.

If it were Elliott, the OPC would run the table. But it's a known, corrupt, incompetent idiot who will fuck up, pay off his buddies and embarrass the entire province for 5 whole fucking years.

Boober, imagine if Uncle Al - the moron who drinks coffee from the saucer, leaks piss down the front of his pants and leers at your 8 year old daughter - announced that he was going to move into the spare bedroom at your place for 5 years. Yeah.... it's not a good feeling, is it?

Bull's eye! Progressive Conservatives governed Ontario with majority after majority in an unbroken string for forty-two straight years, until Bill Davis retired. When the Party's taste swung right, and they picked more rigid ideologues like Frank Miller, they lost credibility with the majority of the population (known as the centre) and since then they've only managed to win elections because voters were fed up with the incumbent. Harris, Eves, Tory, and Hudak: No matter how qualified, and how popular within their increasingly right-wing Party, unless they had a 'villain' like Bob Rae to run against, they simply couldn't get the votes.

That may be working for them again†, but that might only see Dougie do another Miller, and wind up leading a minority government that will go down as soon as a Liberal-NDP working concensus emerges. As long as we're running a winner-take-all FPTP electoral system, the only path to majority is through the centre.
