Well, it makes sense. A tall, handsome guy who is fat would be just a "big" guy, like a bear. Very intimidating and powerful looking.

I'm ugly, my body is all saggy (84.3% ass) and I'm 3'4". To be worse, my pecker is proportional to my body. I guess that pretty much eliminates me from the gene pool.

Its been discussed so many times - on so many forums - on so many threads. Just go to plentyoffish.com and type "height" in the search bracket. or do a search on any number of other forums or dating sites that have forums.


What really perplexes me is when you see a guy that is 6'7 tall and his girlfriend is like 5'5. And nobody around seems to notice, as if its just another couple. But then when youswitch the genders, and the girl is 6'7 and the guy is 5'5. Then you never see this. (maybe once in a blue moon, maybe.) and also, when this DOES happen. EVERYBODY notices. They don't show it. But theynotice. Like its a freak show or something. But when the genders are switched and the guy is 6'7 and the girl is 5'5. Nobody cares.Strange world

In the absence of any other physical cues (muscle mass, tone, wealth) height is the most obvious metric for fitness for survival and progeny.

yeah. But I heard some tall girls (5'9/5'10 and up) say that even if he's much shorter and even if he's a doctor or filthy rich. She still won't date him.

Having dated men varying in height from 6'7" to 5'4" I can say that height is the least important factor to me, however it does seem to matter to other men also. My longest relationship was with the 5'4" guy and being 5'9" myself (6' in heels) the size difference was definitely noticeable. I found while dating him other men would approach me even when he was standing beside me, something that never happened when I was dating a very tall guy. It actually caused more headaches for me than anything else, I was appalled at how they'd just assume I wouldn't really be interested in him.

Once I dated this model-type girl, who was taller than I was (and many others she'd dated). We were in a restaurant and the waiter had the temerity to hit on her, I felt because of the height discrepancy between her and myself. I up and bought the restaurant, and fired the guy's ass.

Good for you! As I said nothing bothered me more than when guys would hit on me because they didn't think I'd really like a shorter guy.
