I think you will find a correlation between frequency of sex and length of time married.

, lucky bastards.Not always the case, and maybe not so often the case IMHO. Many married couples who have sex very often stay together. My SO knows very well exactkly which buttons to push and how to work them in the sex department! Often, I wonder why I bother to hobby at all with the SO I have.More accurately, an inverse correlation.

I work my wife into my regular routines. I think of my girls like a little harum, Tuesday working girl #1 Thursday working girl #2 Saturday night special wife then the cycle begins again. You have to give them all a fair chance. There is only so much me to go around.

Lots of unforeseen things can happen when you vow to each other "in sickness and in health".
Heath is definitely one thing that can change a relationship, don't forget the richer and poorer part too.
These 2 factors seem to be a common underlying issue that eats away at a relationship. This is magnified when both partners evolve over time with different goals. The connection starts to weaken and sex goes with it.
This is all purely speculative on my part.
