In spite of his medical condition, she's been giving Finley the Golden Retriever quality of life. I was going to post her Hurricane Ian vlog, she lives on the Atlantic Coast all she got was a storm.
Finley is not an invalid, he's part of the family.

While exercising on the Humber Trail, I ran into a problem that made me sad - a deranged Border Collie.
Border Collies are not necessarily house pets. They are working dogs, if their natural instinct to herd is suppressed they can lose their minds. The dog lunged at me on two occasions, the second time it tried to bite through it's leash. I ran into them again this morning and told the owner to move over. She made like she didn't understand English.
The only time I've been bitten this century was from a border collie that was kept chained in the back yard by the owner. The dog went psycho. An irresponsible owner should not have such a dog.

You are spot on. These dogs needs excitement. The vet told me not necessary to herd or work they will be fine as long as they move everyday.
My dad keeps him often and I ask him do not go and walk the dog. That's not enough. Go to the park and throw the ball or Frisbee at him.
These dogs are super athletes and fucking intelligent. Other dog owner I meet on the trail go crazy at how he comes back to me as soon as I call him. Whatever he's doing he will stop and come back to me.
At one point in a trail my dog was like 200 meters in front of me running like crazy. But then stop and waited for me. I was surprise to see that but find out he had stop because the trail was splitting in 2 trails. He was waiting for my order to which one to take. That is a border collie

They have been designated as Cane Corragioso, respected members of the Italian Coast Guard. We know them in Canada as Newfoundlanders. If there are too many migrants in the water, they can get to them faster than the divers can.

Superpower Dogs is an actual series, Reef (pictured in the YT still) is part of the series. I thought that Labrador Retrievers are perfectly suited to being seeing eye dogs. They are actually specifically bred for the job, combining the qualities of two different types of dogs.
