Inter managed to squeeze thru against Porto, I don't know how they survived todays game. Waves and Waves of Porto couldn't breech, but Inter couldn't score either. I'm happy they're letting D'Ambrosio play again.

The Erling Haaland show. Holy shit mind you Leipzig is not the top , but they're not the shits either. City won 7-0 and 5 of the goals were Haalands. He's everywhere, always at the right spot at the right time. He broke City's record.
Leipzig is a gorgeous medieval town that gave the world Leibniz and Bach. Manchester City is a fiefdom club who's owners fire bomb Yemeni civilians and support al - Qaeda. An unlimited budget with no oversight, how can Leipzig compete. Haaland says he wants Kvara for next season, he better hope he doesn't end up eating Acerbi's shorts instead.

The clubs with the best defense going into the quarterfinals are Benfica and Inter.

I'm disappointed in Eintracht fans, I expected better from accountants. Maybe the bank run and the Negronis made them see red. I'm happy for the Italian clubs, I'm going to pop the cork on a bottle of Prosecco and have a Chastain Supernova.

Now it's up to the regional councils to fall in line with Jamie Dimon's plans to revitalize Serie A.

Will Victor Osimhen show up at the fisherman's wharf wearing his mutantuozz.

Nothing tops the Napolitan dialect.

This usually English fans behavior.
This is an outdated stereotype. The English did have a big problem but worked hard to stamp this stuff out after the 1980’s and make it a family atmosphere where all feel welcome and safe.

They may have drunkenly destroyed their own stadium during the Euro final but I attribute that to pent up energy after the covid lockdowns and people forgetting how to act.

You won’t be seeing the travelling English fans bringing that kind of firepower, weaponry, numbers, and organization to cause destruction in Naples when they play Italy in the euro qualifiers this month. I expect them to be on their best behaviour.

100 masked German hooligans stormed a family pub near Wembley armed with machetes and brass knuckles during the nations league last September, injuring 5 people.

100’s of Frankfurt fans were also throwing patio furniture and bottles at Rangers fans in Seville before last years Europa league final.

I didn't know the Germans were the bad boys now. Many have hooligans, Lazio apparently is full of Fascists.

According to this article the Brits hooligans filtered down to lower leagues.

Sporting Club de Portugal, otherwise known as Sporting Lisbon, knocked out Arsenal from the Europa League on penalties after the tie was tied 3-3.
Wasn't aware away goal format has been eliminated lol. The Gunners would have advanced based on that format.
All the money pumped into Premier League clubs not making much difference. Loving it

And then there is another competition known as Europa Conference League. Wasnt aware of that, too. West Ham, who are in a relegation battle in the Premier League, advanced.

This makes me sad, the Napoli Ultras knew they were coming. There was no trouble in Torino, Freiburg is one of Germany's most picturesque town, I enjoyed my time there. Something rotten in Frankfurt, it's the financial capital of Germany and the city with the largest immigrant population. German hooligans better be careful, the Carabinieri are highly trained sharpshooters.

When I went to San Paolo I ate bacala fritters with peaches in wine.

Champions League Draw ( and my predictions):

Real Madrid/Chelsea - Real Madrid
Man City/Bayern - Bayern
AC Milan/Napoli - Napoli
Inter/Benfica - Benfica

Another year of futility for Man City
Bayern will need to be better then they were against PSG to win. I predict a win by Man City.

I agree with all other prediction. Would love Napoli to go all the way!

It's kind of a shame that Benfica and Inter are paired together, one goal will probably decide who advances.

I wanted Inter vs ManCity so that Haaland and Acerbi can renew their love affair. Frankie lost three years to cancer, he wasn't supposed to make a comeback - now he's the defensive Man in Black.

Milan already lost against Napoli, but you never know. Napoli lost against Lazio (meaning they can lose) and Milan is going to make a super effort to win. I'm against the usual teams winning like Real or Bayern. I'm hoping Napoli or City to win it all.
