It was a cheap shot, its was funny listening to grapes after the game, he just ripped into downey.

As much as I dislike grapes... he does defend "tough guys". Downie is not in the grapes mold. Wendel Clark, Doug Gilmour are "tough guys". Cheap shot artists are not grapes idea of "tough guys".bennyboy68 said:

The guy really is clueless. He sucker punches another player who is tied up by the official. He gets fined and reprimanded by the league. He gets told he's walking a fine line by the NHL, harsher words from his own coach and then says it was blown out of proportion. Maybe when he's sitting at home after his next suspension he will have more time to reflect on his actions, but undoubtably will still be blaming someone else.
