Naaaw, obviously this comment is directed to the real Maddie called Nikolas Cruz. He must be a "sweetie pie and cupcake" to you, so go on defending him. LOL!!!
He may have been a racist dirtbag, but I dont think his shooting rampage was racist in nature.
I think it was hatred in general (against his schoolmates)

Your sweetie pie / cupcake may have intended it to be racist in nature but carried out the shooting based on impulse to just kill everyone that stood in his way. We do not know at this stage. There were a fair number students of ethnic minorities and a couple of instructors that also paid the price:

Not speculating now, but we will have to wait to find out what his actual intentions were.

We've got folks like budplug who defend white supremacists, and we've got right winger racist trolls like galsegin/conlin/CM.
Its up to you to separate yourself from them.

I was lumping this individual with the so called "white supremacist bullshit". We know that you feel offended that your sweetie pie / cupcake who killed 17 human beings is lumped into that category!!

You are the one who is so confused that you did not want him to also be considered to be a racist.

Yes he should definitely stop lumping all racists together. There are some very fine people among the whet supremacists.
Everybody loses in a farting contest, and that's what this thread has become.

Whether this kid is a white supremacist or not, it is not credible that those beliefs had anything to do with an indiscriminate attack which killed mostly white kids in a mostly white school. It's a stupid angle on the killing, even if it were true.

He might just have be a very violent white supremacist, a gun nut, NRA team member, wingnut.
Or more likely he was just a more typical extremist right winger.

Better?

This individual is a right wing extremist who showed up at the school with one thing on his mind. To kill as many students / teachers as possible. What makes him different from a terrorist in this respect??
He is a racist no doubt whether you want to call him a KKK or White Supremacist. Who gives a damn. The right wingers should stop defending him as he had a twisted mind...... period!!! Start showing more respect to the victims instead, who are trying to make their voices heard. No wonder the most recent polls have about 98% of those polled who support more stringent gun controls.

Obviously, what makes him different is the disconnect between his ideology and either the motivation for the killings or the execution of that intent. In short, he took aim at, and killed, mostly white kids.

Half of the victims were Jewish or Hispanic. He went to the school so he clearly knew the ethnic make up of the place.

Precisely, although the right wingers will go on ranting that the majority were white kids. All the same there were 17 lives lost including two staff members. This was a horrific incident so why do the right wingers try to find any positives about this perpetrator / murderer is beyond me!!

Please stop talking about the gunman.

He isn't important. He is a distraction now from the greater issue of gun control.

Scoring political points off the deaths is wrong. The kids are saying it isnt a party issue.

Try listening to them.

You're right, CNN and all trash media is all over this and I find it sickening that guys like frankfooter, CNN would try to score points off the death of these kids by starting stupid threads like this.

Obviously the right wingers do not like the notion that the survivors of this hideous massacre are prepared to insert some sense into this administration so that the schools can be more safe. The town hall meeting organized by CNN gave an opportunity for these students to pose questions to Marco Rubio and the NRA. Kudos to CNN as Rubio has now decided that there should be more gun control laws and the age for possession of weapons should be raised to twenty one years. This is just a tiny step in the right direction, whereas the NRA, ohh well they are the NRA.

The real garbage in the bin media like Fox and Breitbart will off course just continue to show their true colours by backing the NRA and the lax gun laws or lack of it.

Really now. You know what all right-wingers are thinking at all times??
There are plenty of Righties who want to see a bit more tighter gun restrictions.
Maybe you should stop generalizing, it doesnt make you look very smart

Right, and guess what......Rubio is right-wing

Also not true: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/02/22/trumps-early-move-on-guns-could-bridge-partisan-gap.html

And there is no evidence he targeted any specific group, or killed any specific group.

Add to that his statement after the killings (through his lawyer) that he was extremely remorseful. Whether you believe that or not, it's the not the type of statement a terrorist makes. Terrorists take the opportunity to push their ideology and justify their actions with it. You know, statements like "Allahu Akbar", as the Pulse nightclub shooter shouted.
