I was thinking foul play. Maybe the body was chopped up at a abattoir with some beef and a big chunk got through

Always a possiblity, but evidently the finger tip wasn't that fresh and seemed to have been...um...marinating in the chili for awhile. Also the woman did put it into her mouth, immediately spit it out, and then vomited all over the floor. If someone was trying a hoax they went to a lot of trouble. Did I mention I'm never eating fast food again?
