I nominate this post ^^^ as the stupidest post of the day.
I like seeing the reactions to an obviously intentional provocative post.

Do you disagree with the concept of "Innocent 'til proven guilty"? Is it flawed? Have you ever stated it yourself?

OJ Simpson, for many of us, was proven guilty.

You are fully entitled to believe what you want. But the standard bar is what the court system says. He was not proven guilty by the court.

But I ask again, do you disagree with the concept of "Innocent 'til proven guilty"? Is it flawed? Have you ever used that phrase yourself? Just asking.

Mark Twain once said " I've never wished a man dead but have read many obituaries with a great deal of pleasure" For me this would apply in this case.

It has nothing to do with the nonsense that happened in the trial…he killed 2 people.

Although not proven, I believe OJ was suffering from CTE when he became estranged from Nicole. His last two seasons as a running back, he lost his explosive first step. He could no longer spin and evade tackles like he once could. As such, opposing defenses started to safety blitz him, Safeties may not be the biggest players on the gridiron but they hit the hardest. Every time he carried the ball he was taking multiple hits. I still remember the year the Denver Broncos first went to the Super Bowl. OJ was playing for the 49ers, he got brutally punished by the Orange Crush, I was amazed that he managed to walk off the field.

Well if his brain was donated for examination at least it might give a clue whether he had it or not.

There was 2 big miscarriage of justices in Los Angeles in the early 90s...the first being the not guilty verdict of those white cops videotaped for kicking the shit out of Rodney King and then the OJ Simpson not guilty verdict...some think the Simpson verdict was a message sent to racist Los Angeles.
Yes, they were closely connected. The Rodney King verdict happened about a year (?) before OJ's trial and the Black jurors were sorely pissed off. Plus, one of the OJ cops was a white supremacist and it was possible to sell the jury that this cop had tainted the evidence against OJ.

also, prosecution erred by having OJ try on the bloody black leather gloves-WHILE WEARING LATEX RUBBER GLOVES that snags on any material.

The world lost a great man today. First man to run for over 2,000 and it was just a 14 game schedule. He was so smooth gliding through the tiniest of openings created by the Electric Company. His Hertz commercials were iconic and he made the City of Buffalo famous. They must be hurting today.

Never convicted of murder. Run, Juice, run.

A few months earlier, a Korean female shop keeper also shot a black girl in the back and the court verdict was innocent. These events kicked off the burn, loot and murders of LA in 1992. If the white cops who gave King a beating and the Korean woman went to jail would Simpson have gone to jail too ? I think the glove thing and Mark Fuhrman swung it OJs way.

OJ is probably with King now looking up at us amazed at the media coverage they still receive while dead.
