Emma Roberts in Scream Queens

Emma Roberts was very good in American Horror Story, never watched Scream Queens. Her career appears to be somewhat stalled. Now she has to compete with Samara Weaving for roles, who has more talent and is actually younger. Ready or Not made a $60 million profit on a $6 million budget, in Hollywood that's BIG.

I love Scream Queens, it's so twisted. Emma Roberts is amazing in it. I can't picture anyone else in that role.

I agree with Kathleen, I love both HDD but 1 is the best.

I loved American Horror Story.

For her performance in The Blind Side (one of the best films for me), Bullock received the Academy Award for Best Actress.

Sandra Bullock is a great actress, but not necessarily for The Blind Side in my opinion. I liked the movie, but didn't think the role was meaty enough. One might also question her Southern accent.

Note that actresses have shorter careers as they age unlike men

Some women (and men) would beg to differ. You have to realize Hollywood has no problem routinely casting 60something actors with 30something women in romantic relationships. Hollywood actresses start to get faded out of romantic roles very quickly regardless of how they look.

Before you think I'm getting all righteous, I generally think Hollywood leading men are more bankable for a longer time.

Not sure Ava Gardner would have worked in The Graduate, she was a full decade older than Anne Bancroft. The strange part is Bancroft was only six years older than Dustin Hoffman, she made it work at being old enough to be his mother.

Very under-rated actress.

Yes underrated, but Anne Bancroft did win an Academy Award. That award has eluded many a great actor/actress.

They were all before my time but I have heard of them.

Jayne Mansfield did a topless ( a rarity at the time) scene in Promises Promises.

It depends, some actresses careers fade with their looks - they don't have the chops to back it up. Sandra Bullock is still working, and Jessica Lange.....
