I thought a schmuck was the part of the penis that gets tossed after the briss? Purely apocryphal, someone told me that years ago.

I too did not know that touchas (or however you would spell it in English) was yiddish.

In my younger days in high school I used to see a lot of Jewish girls, every time I would take my pants off to have sex they would call me a shvartza and start giggling, I didn't care as I was always horny and just wanted to get laid bad, lol. I don't know how to spell it, I'm just typing as I pronounce. What does that mean? :confused:

How about the most famous yiddish word of all, oh vay, lol, I use to hear that from all the older Jewish ladies all the time.

Three of my favorites:

schvitz - to sweat, or take a sauna;

As in - it's like a sauna in here I am really starting to schvitz.

or

Since we are at the gym why not go for a schvitz?

LG
Because of its Germanic origin, many words sound German.

Schwitz = sweat

Auschwitz = from our sweat.

Yikes.... not good not a joke. Not a favorite word at all. In German it means black - its can also be a derogatory term for black people - equivelant of the n word. Not nice at all. Could be a sterotype reference to the size of your manhood as well.

Oh shit, well I'm not black, so I guess it's option 2, lol.

Good thing I don't use that word then.

Good idea! Not knowing the meaning of the word is not a good reason to get the crap kicked out of you.

I like the phrase "hakken a chaynek" which means literally to "bang a kettle" i.e. to irritate someone, as in

"that Lonegunman guy is hakken me a chaynek" with his incessant prattle...

So now I know how to spell it.

Tonight I saw the 'How Do You like Your Coffee Crisp' commercial with the two Jewish Grammas, playing whist and talking about stuff. It must be 20 years old by now.

'Now, I should know to laugh, but you don't know from jokes.'

Next it'll be 'Where's the beef?' wanting equal time.

Sure, however:

During many years of strict censorship on TV (or in the movies) these words seemed to always make it past the censors. :confused:
You should listen to the subliminal mumblings in old Popeye cartoons. He swears in yiddish in a lot of them.
