Did you read the study or did you just see what someone else claimed it said (because the study clearly states the average age is around 40)?
The really interesting part of the study is where they say long COVID looks an awful lot like a regular reaction to viral infection (I.e. there is still some question as to wether or not it’s actually real).
The study that shows long COVID is mostly found in the old and the sick is found here;

They actually say this:

Older people and people with many serious medical conditions are the most likely to experience lingering COVID-19 symptoms, but even young, otherwise healthy people can feel unwell for weeks to months after infection.

If group A has a 10 percent chance of getting long term effects, and group B has a 8 percent chance, then a person in group A is most likely to experience it.

However, if group A is smaller than group B, then the cases will be mostly found in group B. The average age will tilt towards group B.

Do you understand the difference, and how what you are saying is likely misleading?

And where in this link is the bit that says it is similar to "a regular reaction to viral infection"?
And where is the bit about "some question wether [sic] or not it's actually real"?

And finally, where in this link is "The study that shows long COVID is mostly found in the old and the sick"?

I ask because there is no study at all at your link.

Have you done ANY research at all? Go google "long covid" right now, read stories from real people about what they are experiencing. This isn't just a common cold, not by a long shot.

Yeah, you’re right. The Mayo Clinic are a bunch or quacks. Who would listen to them, right?

I didn't say they were quacks.
I said this isn't a study, it's a Mayo Clinic health information summary.
It also doesn't seem to say the things you say it says in "this study".
Did you link to the wrong thing by accident?
