A fascinating article in The Times as to the identity of "Belle de Jour" the author of the best-selling books about her life as an escort.

Wow that is what she looks like she kept herself hidden for so long. maybe she retired from being an sp. and she has a PHD damn she has it all.

I never read the book I have only watched the show and I really enjoy it I can't wait for season 3

Now that is some inspriration.

I am reading this one as well

An interesting story. Probably not radically different from a few of the ladies that have passed by this board. They just didn't write best sellers about their experiences. I hope she was declaring most or all of her income as an escort. Otherwise, someone will be paying her a visit soon.

I'm glad it turned out well and she's getting support from friends, family and her employer. She's helping to change perceptions, you don't have to be a drug addict to consider being a prostitute.

Great show! Great book!

Beautiful Actresses both on the show and the book.

This is all very old news in the UK.

Her reasons for starting in this industry is not uncommon and very similar to a few ladies I have met in the hobby. To all those ladies out there in this industry as a means to an end similar to La Belle de Jour, all the power to you and may you be rewarded with many successes.

I think she should have kept her identity a mystery. Watching the show, not knowing who the person was made it all that more appealing.

I wonder if she did reveal her identity out of guilt. Sometimes leading a double life can be extremely overwhelming and her conscience most likely made her do it.

My ex had her Masters, Phd AND her MBA. (Fom very pretigious Universities as well)

She would suck cock better than most pros. (Though she would always spit)

Though she LOVED receiving facials.

She would gladly take it up the ass.

She was into 3'somes with another woman.

Let me spank her, tie her up, and she received golden showers, and we rented pornos together and diddled each other while we watched.

She had a tight little body as well.

Too bad she was a psycho.

IMHO, highly educated women tend to be more sexual than their high school drop out counter-parts.

I don't know man, I think that you could've stuck it out with benefits like that! LMAO.

.

Once again we see that smart and beautiful doesn't guarantee the person has some simple common sense . Outting herself will give her some momentary satisfaction followed by many years of regret . Let's not fool ourselves into thinking she hasn't just overshadowed all her accomplishments with the label of
................. (insert your favourite derogatory term for sex trade worker ) .

No matter how good you are at covering your tracks there is always the fear that you expose yourself . Fucked if I know why people do it but they do . In a moment of weakness be it emotional or artificially induced the gums start flapping and the secret is out .

Trust me, I really doubt you could have handled how fucked up this woman was. Just a bundle of insecurity. Example - fired from 3 jobs in 3 years. That takes doing. Also would regularly get into HUGE rows with my family, her family, my friends, co workers, her friends, you name it. Drama was never in short supply.

She's married to a guy who is VERY in touch with his feminine side. (Only he could have the patience for her.) Mind you for a year or more after we split up, she would slink back to my place every week or two for me to put the blocks to her properly. She admitted that while he and her got along better than she and I ever did (we were just toxic together), he could not satisfy her in the sack.

Nope, I was just about ready to jump off a bridge living with her. I've dated other women who were better than her sexually to tell you the truth and didn't cause me to contemplate the Leaside Bridge option. Maybe I'm lucky, I dunno. Just of all my ex GF's, she was the most highly educated. (Funny thing, if you met her, you'd figure out that she was pretty smart, but you'd never think genius, yet she was. No denying that, the woman had the knack for education.)

In the article she mentioned that there was an ex-bf who had a loud mouth, so she would rather disclose the information under her own volition and control rather than wait for the ex-bf to say stuff.

This isn't new.

SPs currently working include a PhD in English Litt, Masters in Biology, Master in Social Work, Law degree after a bachelors in Political Science and Management, two MBAs, PhD in Mathematics, and several in their bachelor programs. And they're all pretty decent looking too. :)

word!
I have recently had the honour to bed a few educated SPs and the difference between them and small-town HS drop outs was remarkable.

Should we start a thread on educated (currently available) SPs? Or maybe lets hijack this one?:)

But what's special about Belle de Jour is that she blogged about it, had a spin-off novel and spin-off tv show...now that's new.
