A family in London were mowed down last night just going for a walk by a 20 year old driver Police identify as Nathaniel VELTMAN in what LPS described as a planned attack against Muslims. 3 adults 1 male 46 2 females 74,43 and a 15 year old girl. A 9 year old boy is in hospital in serious condition. Sick Crazy world we live in.

From the reports, it was premeditated. London has a sizeable Muslim population, so he probably sought out people that look a certain way. They could have been wearing traditional garb as well, details are still scarce. If you're around people of different backgrounds, you also get good at telling certain groups apart.
The silence of certain "law and order" types who post here is absolutely deafening.

It takes a really special (and by that I mean fucked up) individual to do something as horrific as that. One of the kindest, most caring people I've ever met is a Muslim gentleman and his family who lives next door to my elderly parents. He introduced himself shortly after they moved in. I'd often see him in his yard when I stopped by and we'd chat about all sorts of things.
One day he said, "here's our numbers. If there's ever an emergency or need me to check on your parents, please don't hesitate to call us. I know you're a busy person, don't live around the corner and you can't always be there on a moment's notice. In my religion we are taught to help our neighbours who live on either side of us." I had no problem giving him a key in case of an emergency. He's helped out my parents on numerous occasions.
Like I said, one of the nicest families I've ever met. It's just sickening, that individuals like that piece of garbage who killed that family live among us.

Veltman doesn't sound Jewish to me at all -- it sounds Dutch, and SW Ontario is chockfull of Dutch people. And they're typically Calvinists if they're religious.

Its funny, when right-wingers jump to the conclusion there's a terrorist attack in Europe and its most likely Muslims, you have no problem labeling us as Islamophobes or racists. Funny how that works, huh??
