My turn to give you a blast. If memory serves me right, you were one of the people that told me that looking for love while in this hobby was stupid. So I stopped looking for it here and went into the "real world".
Having a 6+ hour drive back gave me lots of time to think and discover some new insights.
It is much more difficult to drive through tears than to drive through rain.
I have more friends on this board than in the "real world".
The reason why my retiring from the hobby was easy is because I'm not looking for sex. Yes, I'm looking for physical contact, but that contact is in the power of a hug.
Maybe a better definition of what I'm looking for is a friend that can carry on an intelligent conversation AND can hug, like today is the last day on earth.
It appears most people are afraid of friendships of that intensity and can't handle receiving true affection without thinking there is a hidden agenda.

Nice attempt Booty... but not even close. We're all dealt challenges in our lives. Some people whine about all the negative things that have happened and never move on. Some people accept what happened... learn from them and then move on. Life is too short to be bitter and a hard ass Booty. I have expectations and certainly the patience to wait.

I try to learn from my mistakes and move on Booty. Married the wrong woman and had babies. We tried our best to fix it... but it wasn't to be. Responsibility for our children was more important than a marriage without love. But when they grew up... it was time to move on. I've certainly spent the last 5-6 years making up for lost time.
