I think they are just technical consultants. I believe Red Bull is building then engines now and Honda gives the technical guidance.

Nice to see Alonso finish higher than 3rd.
But I think it is time F1 rethink Monaco, that is to say, cancel it. Pretty dull race until the rain fell.

The cars are too fast for the circut. I would love them to continue having the rase provided they can flood the track with water every now and then.
Cars are too big now. Makes it harder to make a move going into a corner.
I was at the autoshow this year and they had an Alfa Romeo F1 car on display. I was shocked at how long it is.
I would have paid to see what those "rooster tails" would have looked like.

There is already a budget cap in place..to design and build the chassis and pay for travel etc
engine and drivers pay is not part of the budget cap
I don’t have issue with fast pit stops. All teams play by same rules. No reason to copy Nascar rules.
What they need are tires that will not go the distance, forcing teams to stop twice, tires the drivers can lean on hard while they have life. I see no reason to have 3 compounds per race. Force them to use the fuel instead of always being in conservation mode. After the opening laps all teams flip to tire and fuel conservation mode which sucks, this is what they need to change and drop the DRS passes.

That would be interesting, Max would no doubt find a way to push those tires and avoid stops somehow. lol
