I've always been one to never settle and some may know of my lack of committment.

This girl and I were "just friends", and she was "not my type". She didn't have that "look" I was after. In fact, I mocked her at the start, claiming her to be just another notch on my bedpost.

Someone once posted that relationships are made, not found. Well, after 6 months of dating, I'm beginning to fall for her. Perhaps she's just growing on me...but breaking up with her is now becoming less and less of an option.

Yeah...at first I was like, "Dude...this guy don't speak English for shit". But then, you know, that rakish grin kinda got to me, and then...when he wrapped his paws around the scrawny neck of that protester - well I practically wet myself.

At least now he's quit his silly day job so I get him all to myself - we're flying off to Hawaii where we can smoke dope and make frenzied love in the sand. We'll send Aline out to buy some art or something.

Almost did once but I think that's because she really liked me and not much had been going on for a while. I won't let myself fall if I don't think it's right.
i think i,m in the same boat and your last sentence is what i think i,ll do from now on.

I don't know, guys. I've always been one to settle for whatever comes along, and it's never steered me wrong. Millions of other people do the same, out of laziness, fear of rejection, or just the simple assumption that they're not destined for happiness on this world anyway. :)

And besides, everyone knows that your real true love is out there, waiting for you to become entangled in a relationship before they show their face to you. So by being "picky", or "not settling", you're just delaying the meeting with your one true love.

I used to always chase after the difficult ones, the ones who weren't available, likely because I wasn't ready for or able to make a commitment. However, my last girlfriend was just a friend at first, someone who I respected and enjoyed being around, but wasn't really attracted to until she made the first move. It grew into a really great relationship, even though when I met her I wasn't attracted to her because she wasn't my type. So, in my experience it's quite possible to find someone much better for you than your preconceived type.
