They will certainly be able to make that argument. Back to back world cups would be better IMHO...If Spain can win this Euro they will IMO go down as the best team ever to play the game of soccer

Portugal were better in regular time, but I thought Spain were better in ETSaw most of the Portugal-Spain game and in my opinion the best team on the day didn't win, but it was a good game
I agree with that assessment.Portugal were better in regular time, but I thought Spain were better in ET
Hope you didn't bet the house or else you'll be sleeping in the park tonight............do you have a sleeping bag?If Germany get passed Italy in what will be an amazing attacking game (I have Germany winning 2-0) then their players will have to play the best game of their lives to unseat champions Spain.
And Andrea Pirlo was named Man of the Match. He was good, as usual. But not great. The Man of the Match was Mario Balotteli. Period!
Sorry gents have to disagree with you, Pirlo was definitely the Man of the Match IMO. If you understand the complexities of soccer and watched closely he was technically perfect from all aspects, he never lost control of the ball when several German players were all over him, he controls the tempo of the game, unbelievable passer and controlled the mid-field throughout the game. I zoomed in on him throughout the whole game and couldn't believe how brilliant he was, he seemed to be on the ball or within a few yards of the ball the entire game, he was always in the right position all the time.Kudos to Italy. They played very well. And how they could have chosen Pirlo -- as well as he played -- over Balotelli is beyond me!
Yuphistory repeats again.
