Union guys HATE Walmart with a passion. I dare say, you'd be hard pressed to find any died in the wool union guy EVER at a Walmart store.


I wouldn't be surprized if the unions sent blanket memo's discouraging their members from shopping there.

I got my ex's diamond re-set into a platinum ring for myself! I don't wear it much anymore, but every once and a while.

funny you should bring him into this conversation. He's been fooled by Moissanite on a couple of occasions and been in trouble with the law for reselling it as the real thing. No charges, but he was really embarrassed. He was mart enough to make good on any problems with the customers.

Best Place is Peoples/Mappins(Same company Zehrs Corp), you can haggle the price a bit.

Birks has higher end "Diamonds", but all the Stone setters, dealers and Gold suppliers are the same ones , Birks, Peopels, Mappins, spence, even Tiffany's(except for their custom jewelry that is done in house)

Any Zehrs run company can order the high end stuff Birks has, so don't be fooled by the "high end" name brand its all the same, go where you can hagle price the best. Now... some girls just like Tiffany to say its Tiffany.

Anyways, Find a ring you want get me the model number, I offer a discount of %18 off retail(non sale items) =)
