Had a nice first time visit with Miss Emily last week. Wow! I really enjoyed our time together. She has some great oral skills....(talking as well as the other lol) and we had some real fun in cowgirl and doggie positions.

This girl is on my list of things to do for sure! Those eyes look completely captivating and she has just the right hint of naughty! All reviews I have seen are all very positive and certainly puts her high on the wish list! I think this girl next door type will be well worth the trip to taste her sugar.
While the SP economy is not perfectly elastic...it certainly does have price points set by supply and demand...and each SP (well...each independent SP) can set their price based on their own micro-economy. Many independents will increase their rates when they gain popularity, in addition to them having to cover more costs being an independent. All of that said, her new rate is certainly in line with the local SP economy.
I agree with you totally. That being said, she went over the "psychological" limit of 200, which is for a lot of hobbyists a threshold that they don't want to go over.
I don't follow you on this one...what higher costs? When they work for an agency, they usually have to pay for the hotel themselves and give a hefty cut to the agency. Yes, some agencies provide the accomodations or the girls get to share the cost of a room but the bottom line is the amount they keep for an hour is around 60-70% (so they make from $120-$140 on a $200/hr rate). So what higher costs are you speaking of?
Well...I am by no means an expert in SP economics...but from where I sit it would be more costly to run your own advertising, create a web presence, purchase a domain name, hire a graphic designer, setup a permanent incall location and run a business one’s self than to have an agency do that for you. I have no idea what % agencies take off the top (nor do I really want to know...), but I was under the impression that incall locations were either provided by the agency or shared among the agency providers.
I am certainly not going to die on this hill, nor am I an expert...but that is my opinion...

Emily deserves the higher rate, and people will pay it. She works at the service she provides, attempts to make it personal as well. Don't know how long that level of effort will last but it's certainly not the norm, and she tries harder than the average sp for sure. So 220hr is fair. She could probably charge more, and will in time.
