hmmm.. how sad but true ... One EI friend of mine was rejected by three SPs with the comment - "ugh I don't do that" .. on his birthday.. I felt really sad for him for suggesting these reviewed SPs from TERB :frown: ... but each to his own I guess... In my experience I have learnt it is never the race ... it is something more personal that makes people generalize and hate everything...

Agreed, as a Canadian born EI, the older idiots are screwing things up for the rest of us!!! I recently tried to hook a popular blonde SP and she quoted me higher when I told her I was EI, 150/300 when her normal rate is 120/220.

Oh that's just wrong, she hasn't even met you yet.

there are a 2 asian guys in our little crew, 2 spanish no EI, the rest are mostly white..we're all pretty good looking, but they still go to the asians when we hit a sc...why? (From my experience only) because they cant say no to any girl unless she is fugly and usually end up spending a small fortune..the rest of us know when to stop or say no

By no means are any of us cheap..we just aren't easy targets..
At clubs its the opposite...no girls or no good looking girls for asian bros...

I have noticed sometimes if I'm selling things on Craigslist, the East Indians always low-ball you to a stupid level.

Example, I was selling an item that was virtually new. I had the receipt, it was in good working order, and less than 1 year old. I was offering it at a 49% percent discount off of new for about $250.00.

I'd get east indian guys offering me 50 bucks, or 75 bucks - dumb shit like that. Usually I would then increase my asking price and that would stop them dead in their tracks.

I know everyone haggles on CL, but there's haggling and then there is insulting.

+1... I had the same experiences selling items on CL and kijiji. I would list something and include in the ad "Price is firm , no low ballers" and of course I would get several emails from East Indian dudes asking for 60%+ off of the asking price PLUS for me to deliver it from Scarb to Brampton at no extra cost, wtf :Eek:. The last one was for a 1.5 year old dresser that I purchased from EQ3 for $500 with receipt, 36"w x 20"d x 35"h 100 pounds. Dresser was very close to mint with zero scratches, no dents. High quality, super smooth roller drawers built to last years. Worked flawlessly

I listed it on kijiji for $135 just to clear it out and make room for the new bedroom set that I had just ordered. Ad price was a steal and still got low ball stupid offers of $50 delivery included Scarb - Brampton. LOL, yeah, suuure buddy. Keep dreaming

Fucking cheeeeap. After continuous experiences like that I now NEVER reply to emails with *certain* last names in it. Filter them out.. Much more stress free interaction now selling on CL.

LOL @ the cheap ass examples in this thread. But a popular SP I used to see hates East Indian guys because they are aggressive, they have a foul body odour and no grooming habits.

I feel bad for the guys this doesn't apply to. I have East Indian friends who this clearly does not apply to.

Gross! You can get some really crazy skin issues from that which will cost you a lot more in treatment. Crazy fellas. Yes, the body odour especially of the older guys that wear turbans is quite revolting.

It is also the matter of degrees. Everyone wants to test out " What is BEST price " to get a deal BUT only a little less .... NOT SLASH the price. If a s.p. asks/posts 160/hh then asking for 80/hh is extreme & comes off as cheap / rude / insulting. ALSO then expecting the same or MORE services on top of asking for 80/hh is just plain RIDICULOUS!! :Eek:

Actually, I wash my hands as soon as I shake hands with an older indian person. I bet you did not know this but most Indians do not use toilet paper. They used their hands and water... now that's friggin gross!

I used to actually dread visiting Indian homes when I was a volunteer with St. Vincent DePaul. Sometimes you just had to use the washroom and I kid you not 1/2 the time there was no toilet paper and the washrooms were filthier than you can imagine!
