When the new prostitution law takes effect, it would probably result in a drop in business for many sex workers. If the sex workers are hungry enough, then less discrimination may occur. It would be interesting to see what the resulting cause and effect will be. Already there used to be one incall place with Chinese staff in the GTA that saw almost exclusively customers of Indian, Tamil or Pakistani descent at ultra low prices as this incall capitalized on factors mentioned in these threads perhaps. There exists something for everyone, although some groups experience greater hardships and restrictions more than others. Even if Indian guys wished to see primarily Indian sex workers in the GTA, this would be difficult as there are not many Indian sex workers in the GTA for several reasons. I know of one Japanese place in the GTA that sees almost exclusively Japanese guys as they have a niche market.

+1... I had the same experiences selling items on CL and kijiji. I would list something and include in the ad "Price is firm , no low ballers" and of course I would get several emails from East Indian dudes asking for 60%+ off of the asking price PLUS for me to deliver it from Scarb to Brampton at no extra cost, wtf :Eek:. The last one was for a 1.5 year old dresser that I purchased from EQ3 for $500 with receipt, 36"w x 20"d x 35"h 100 pounds. Dresser was very close to mint with zero scratches, no dents. High quality, super smooth roller drawers built to last years. Worked flawlessly

EI businesses in kitchens and furniture have sprung up in recent years and are quite successful. Some stores are pretty good for value, if you're not looking for estate-quality things. So I guess, it's sort of the cheapness that Russell Peters is talking about.
