Please do not confuse Carbon MONOXIDE which is deadly, with CO2. Carbon Dioxide will kill you if the concentration gets too high, but only because you are not getting enough O2.

You are wrong on that count. Carbon dioxide is toxic in concentrations above 5%.

This is exactly the reason I pointed it out in my previous post. Most people are not aware that Carbon Dioxide is toxic.

As for handling it with your bare hands, you should know that dry ice is/was used in medicine to burn off warts. (now they tend to use liquid N2) Dry ice can give you a very bad "burn".

I said to tell people to use gloves.
