If you look at the article he posted, what it basically says is that vaccine or exposure, your odds of getting infected is pretty much 0 either way. I mean it doesn't say that, but the data does.
Again. I will cross that bridge when I'm good and ready. However, if there will be a pressure for the booster shot- I will not.
If the efficacy keeps falling at the rate it's falling in Israel- I will not.
I will, however, get the regular flu shot for the first time in my life and continue living carefully, washing my hands religiously and avoiding(within reason) situations that may expose me to unnecessary risk.
Why the change of stance on the flu shot? And why not the COVID shot? I must of missed it. I’m not as invested in others getting the shot as some. So I don’t pay attention as much I guess

Lol! Say you're older and say you've been having flus all your life- clear so far? By now you should know how your body reacts to it and the early signs of onset. In time, one will notice that as one gets older, that the flu becomes a bit harder to shake off. Pretty simple, really. As one ages the immune response becomes weaker- that's how there are always spaces available in the long term care facilities during the flu seasons. Flu kills the weak and the old. Now I have reached that age when it is prudent to avoid it. Simple. As for the medical guidelines, they're general. I look at the health history of myself, my siblings, my parents and grandparents and act accordingly.
