No it doesn't appear so. It seems to me that this boycott of Danish products here in Toronto by the Muslim community ends up hurting ordinary Canadians who work in Companies that import/warehouse these products.

The Hell with them - I say enough is enough. These bastards whine at every damn thing and call for the death of every Westerner - *f* em I for one will never deal with a store that has Muslims as employees or owners. I see it I boycott it. It is about time that ordinary Muslim see how badly 9/11 has affected us in North America and how offensive we find it when morons like Bin Laden laugh at our leaders and threaten to attack non-combatants,

I say these over the top protests by Muslims is the last straw. They withdraw their boycott then I will too until then *F*em
You sound like a very reasonable chap:rolleyes:

He understands the explanations, he doesn't accept them as valid.

“It's not about religious beliefs and practices.” What a ridicules statement, obviously he has no clue, when it comes to ISLAM, it is all about religious beliefs and practices.

“The religion is a bogus fairy tale like Cinderella . .. “

Gee man, this shows the quality & depth of his intellectual capacity.… I would encourage him to talk to his Rabbi about it…
The Rabbi might be able to explain to him that Religion is a pillar of the human spirituality . . . because I certainly can’t, as I am neither a Moslem nor a Jew.

“Hitler and Nazis . . . Islam will be destroyed. .. lalalal . .” What kind of nonsense is this? Hmmmm . .

I am not going to even bother to discuss the rest. .
IMO, he is a disgrace to Zionist movement . . . I thought they are suppose to be smart & conning, so they claim? Ha, right!!!

By the way, do you just throw your support to anyone because he is a Jew?
Give yourself a break man... Use your head, at least try to stay out of BS like this, if you don’t want to upset your fellow Jew.

Yes, they came up with zero, zip, zilch, nada. Quite the legacy.

Seriously, I don't think we owe our great technology and the sumation of modern knowledge to the Arabs inventing Zero.
Then you don’t understand much about the history of mathematics.

Cinema Face said:
There have been ancient civilizations that have had advanced understanding of math such as the Greeks and the Sumarians.
Without the base ten number system with zero as a place holder, the Greeks were limited to geometric proofs. The reason the Greek accomplishments in geometry were so remarkable was that they were able to come up with their proofs without a modern system of numbers.

You’re just wrong about that.

You seem to have mistaken me for saying there were zero contributions. I said to list them.
I did not mean to imply that you said that. I was just trying to provide a bit of explanation with my very incomplete “list”.

I don't think the Arabs invented algebra.
Although the Arab mathematicians did base their work on work of others, the word itself comes from "Kitāb al-Jabr wa-al-Muqabilah," a book on mathematics written around 820 AD by the mathematician Al-Khawarizmi.

Umm, ever hear of the Second Commandment. Jews still respect this Commandment. Catholics don't. Jews can't even put G-d's name in print (that is where the hyphen comes from).

Ps I got you good on this one.

Sorry, it is more likely that you got yourself even better this time. . . the Second Commandment refers to the images of God or any image that could represent or replaces “Yahweh your God”

Prophet Moses made this very clear that this commandment was intended to forbid Israel from making images of Yahweh Himself:
"So watch yourselves carefully, since you did not see any form on the day Yahweh spoke to you at Horeb from the midst of the fire; lest you act corruptly and make a graven image for yourselves in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female, the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the sky, the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water below the earth. (Deut. 4:15-18)"

Christians don’t even bother with this commandment but Moslems do.
Moslems have interpreted this commandment even further by forbidding the idolization of any image for any purpose after the Prophet Mohammad destroyed all the Pagan gods’ sculptures and images during the conquest of Mecca.
That is the reason, you can easily find and purchase the artistic drawings of Jesus or Moses in any corner store, but you can never find the image of Mohammad.
Looks like I might be a better Jew than you can ever be! just kidding!

Yep. Christians get bashed everyday and nobody says peep. In fact why aren't these same Muslims fighting and protesting with the same fervor that they do over a carton character to help instead persecuted Christians in most Middle East countries. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about consider opening up a Christian church anywhere in the mid east. Make sure you have a prepaid funeral.

So, what's the benefits? I'll do anything once.
Try opening up an Islamic church in townships I visit.
Neither sides have clean hands.
That would be protected by the Constitution and local, state and federal police would make sure it opens

In certain part of ME I agree i.e., Saudi Arabia
Most of that land considered sacred land anyways...
However, not in Iran, Lebanon . . . etc, in fact there are more Churchs per capita than there are Mosques...considering the population Mix.
On other hand missionaries for the purpose of conversion is absolutely forbidden, because Islam is considered the last and final of the three Abrahamic religions thus Religious conversion is not an option

So would you support Christianity being the absolute religion in the US and being given that status?

Don’t mix the state religion with the teachings of the religion in that regard!
In a democratic system the majority decide what state religion they want , if one at all.

In our system over here, yes. But my vote only counts as 1
I believe freedom of religion is the way to go within certain boundaries, because I believe religion is very personal.

Hmmmm . . .

I thought you were talking about the Founding Fathers and the idea of freedom of religion. (They never said you are free to impose your ideas on other nations)
So the answer is absolutely not, people of other nations have to decide for themselves in there own good time.
Unless you believe in a blind as a bat, kind of Bush’s doctrine, like his spread of democracy policy in ME by invading Iraq, or interfering in Palestinians affairs by giving the radical Hamas a chance to win.

I thought you might feel that freedom is only good when it benifits you.

I was right

And how is that?
There is a big difference between imposing and advocating!
And the freedom you are talking about is a relative term, not absolute.
Remember, in the history of humankind, seldom anything lasting and worthy happened over night!
