Have you applied any critical thought the question "Is the climate change issue over exaggerated"So you are a lemming... just doing like everyone else is doing, without any critical thought.
Got it.
Time will tell who was the lemming

Still comparing apples and oranges?Have you applied any critical thought the question "Is the climate change issue over exaggerated"

Still think atmospheric temperature changes are irrelevant to the Greenhouse gas theory which occurs in the atmosphere ?Still comparing apples and oranges?
Still think comparing surface projections with atmospheric readings proves something?
Trudeau is doing the same with our plastics except China and other countries in the far east are taking less, He doesn't have an answer either. At least those countries were recycling it and reusing, shipping it to other countries for them to recycle and reuse it was tackling the problem. now it ends up in our landfills and our PM doesn't have an answer for it. Single use plastic is a problem, but it's minor compared to other plastics, why aren't drinks and food containers considered single use? Because it will be too difficult to get rid off. It's easy to get rid of straws and drink stirrers, again it's a pussy move by a pussy PM. It's for optics more than anything else. I agree Scheer wouldn't do anything either. If Trudeau really wants to change things he needs to heavily tax anything in plastic, to force the industries to change back to glass bottles and foil food containers. That day will come, so why wait for it when we can have a head start!! Canada per capita has one of the highest emissions in the world, and it is definitely the highest among the G20 nations.
There are already legislations on the plastic bags that there is a charge. Moreover, single use plastic is set to be banned. If Scheer comes into power, he probably will reverse these pieces of legislation just like he intends to do so with the carbon tax. He has no alternate solution to it. Also, remember that the previous Harper Government was shipping out all the plastic non recyclable wastes to countries like the Philippines and Malaysia. This was something that they were not interested in tackling!!
Atmospheric temperature changes are 'irrelevant' to the Greenhouse theory, they are irrelevant to projections of surface temperatures.Still think atmospheric temperature changes are irrelevant to the Greenhouse gas theory which occurs in the atmosphere ?
Again why have climate scientist sent up over a million weather balloons over the decades? Was it for fun?
Duh pretty much describes the level of intelligence that went into your responseAtmospheric temperature changes are 'irrelevant' to the Greenhouse theory, they are irrelevant to projections of surface temperatures.
Duh.

The plastic shipped off to the Philippines, Indonesia etc were not being recycled. All that was happening is that a large proportion was just stacked up and a sizeable amount dumped into oceans etc.Trudeau is doing the same with our plastics except China and other countries in the far east are taking less, He doesn't have an answer either. It might use more energy but will be re-usable unlike the plastic bottles which are thrown away at alarming rates, our beer and alcohol come in bottles why can't we do the same for water, juices and soft drinks. You also said it probably takes more energy to make bottles and cans but can't say for sure, maybe you should find out before you post a statement.Really
Any idea how much energy is required to form a glass bottle ?
Have you watched an aluminum smelter? It is one of the most energy intensive process going
Probably orders of magnitude more energy inputs for those two on a per weight basis relative to thermoformed plastic extrusions
In Ontario, only 11% of items collected via the recycling program are actually recycled. It might use more energy but will be re-usable unlike the plastic bottles which are thrown away at alarming rates, our beer and alcohol come in bottles why can't we do the same for water, juices and soft drinks.
