Whenever she asks...
...and often when she doesn't.
Less of both nowadays, and both are her decision.
Damn if I understand it...she tried explaining it to me once (something about how motherhood makes her feel different...both physically and psychologically) but it still is a mystery to me.
Don't get me wrong - the wife isn't frigid. We pretty much have all the sex I am looking for, though our timing seems screwed up sometimes (she wants it at night when I am tired and wanting to go to sleep...I want it in the morning and she is NOT a morning person...plus something about either of us being tired seems to make the other horny...and I am just as guilty as her), but the passion doesn't seem as consistent as before.
For example...couple weeks we have really been going thru some issues...I guess after 4 years we were due (4 year check up, 7 year check up, 11 year check..etc.). We are working through them, but there have been some serious conversations and a couple fights mixed in as well. But the sex...holy shit the sex has been OFF THE CHAIN. She even has been telling her friends. Now...where the fuck has that been for like the last 6 months? Up until recently if she wasn't half drunk it was pretty routine...and she hasn't been half drunk in like 6 plus months...
Again, damn if I understand it, but she is my wife and the mother of my child, and I adore her in both roles...so I am willing to just keep working on it and figuring it out. Communication is the key...because like WTF else are you gonna do?
