There are serious after effect symptoms from covid

Vaccine means you will not get a serious case of covid but what about after effects? I cannot find anything on the net about this

Probably no evidence yet based on the timing of all the trials

I would venture a guess it is too soon in the vaccine rollouts to have this type of data.

This is one of the facts ignored by those who say Covid-19 is no worse than a bad case of the flu. There are large scale studies underway to determine the on-going impact of having Covid-19 including potentially significant neurological and cognitive issues as well as lasting damage to the heart and lungs. We have only seen the tip of the iceberg so far and the long term impacts of Covid-19 will be severe.

My guess is that the design of these research studies will include looking at those who had Covid-19 after they were vaccinated.

I've seen news reports saying they are finding getting the vaccine improves the symptoms of some people with long haul issues.
If that is what you are asking.

Logic would dictate that if you are vaccinated and do not get a covid infection there would be zero after effects because there were no primary effects (if there is such a term).

If a vaccinated person still gets an infection but the infection is milder, then it means that whatever particular organ systems were affected would not have been hit as hard resulting in less scar tissue. As such the after effects or long haul effects would/should be lessened.

The principles of science are based on logic. Does the virus follow logic? ;)

I have seen these articles as well where long haulers have had the vaccine and found noticeable and in some cases complete removal of symptoms.
but I believe he is asking about people who have had both doses and still contracted covid and whether or not the had long haul symptoms after.
It is a very good question and I have not seen any info about this.
Just my opinion, but I would think if you had no symptoms or very mild like what is being reported in these cases, you shouldn't have any ill effects afterwards, and again that is just my opinion with no facts to back it up.

Nothing is perfect of course but if the vaccine could reduce or even eliminate long haul problems, one would assume that combined with the vaccines effect in reducing/eliminating MDK, hospitalization and serious illness that it would perhaps if you get it before hand strongly reduce the odds of long haulism for those who get seriously ill.
However I am not even a doctor, my medical skills are about as low as my proneness to typos when entering in a user name is high.
