I think there is a difference between a truly low rent scuzzy motel and a somewhat more expensive decent hotel room. Back to the original topic, I do think there is a threshold of "niceness" that a room should have to make an sp feel more comfortable. However, I am not sure that there is a discernible difference in how an sp will respond between say, a $100 room, and a $400 one.
As an out of towner, I always stay at what I'd consider the reasonably nice, reasonably priced hotels. They are all about the same, imo. But I can certainly understand the reluctance of someone who lives in TO locally to want to spring for a hotel room. What I would try to do, however, is to maximize the utility of the room by booking multiple escorts for that day.
