Spoken like someone who has never picked up an instrument in his life!
He was music's greatest modern individual entertainer just like Elvis and Sinatra before him. Are you going to trash them because they didn't play instruments? In fact, Jackson is more accomplished because he wrote some of his own stuff.

Some of the greatest artists in music history never touched an instrument and therefore weren't musicians. Get over it.

Jackson could sing loops around metal retards, especially if you're into cookie monster metal vocals.

Try writing a good original melodic classic pop song one day. You'll learn that it's more difficult than anything you've done musically in your life.

Music is subjective and what people like is up to them. Whatever music you like is fine with me but you can't deny the impact Jackson made. If his music was as horrible as I think your position is, why was he able to sell millions and millions of records? Granted, there is marketing appeal but surely you don't think the music community is blind to talent.

You have to respect him for what he was - a music genius with the ability to sync his music with dance. .
No I dont
I reserve my respect for those that have a positive impact on others & society as a whole.
In this case there was too many weird issues (especially those related to children)

I do feel empathy for his family & for his fans, but this was not a man whom I have to respect

Hadrain I'm confused. Do you hate MJ? Think he's a no talent hack? I'm not sure what your point is.
Nah dude I don't, I don't. Music is beautiful whatever it may be, it's just the peeps who think they understand the industry........understand?

he doesn't need your respect nor adoration. he has both in spades with or without you because of his positive contributions.

Hadrian should put me in my place by writing and singing his own pop song. Let us be the judge if his song is anywhere near as good ANY of Jackson's. He can't because he doesn't have Jackson's talent. Guitar masturbation is no substitute.

People across the world feel a loss because Jackson was talented and because despite all the rumors and hearsay to the contrary, they believe somebody who was fundamentally good and a positive force is no longer with us.

Okay. So I don't want to put words in your mouth. So are you saying you respect his accomplishments but........?
I respect his talent, shit you would have to be an idiot not to. Just his lack of respect for other artists EVH for example. You guys may of loved him but he was a real prick in the industry!!!

I won't dispute that in his day nobody in the music world was bigger than him. What I don't really get is all the people acting like it's a huge loss to the world. Akin to us losing a spiritual leader, or someone truly great. I heard some guy on the radio say that "the world is a darker place without Michael in it." Really? is it? come on. Jackson hasn't been relevant for years. And he wasn't exactly a good person, in fact not even close.

I think Hadrian banged his head one two many times in his teenage angst headbanging days, which explains why he is a mentally stunted adult who wants to remain an angry teenager.
