I think both of these are illegal to use on humans (IF YOU ARE NOT LE). She cannot use those just because he was bargaining or being persistent. If she does he can go to the police and file a complaint and she may be charged for using an illegal weapon on a human being.

Tasers are prohibited under the criminal code, even being in possession of one gets you charged with a prohibited weapons offence and that's just the opening charge, using a taser is automatic prison time regardless of the situation
Pepper spray is not prohibited or illegal and you can get a canister right over the counter. If a woman had pepper spray and in an emergency was forced to use it to defend herself it wouldn't mean she would be charged. The police take the facts into account. At any rate is a scum bag going to call the cops to file a complaint because a woman he was assaulting hit him with pepper spray? Unlikely. I think all women in this Industry need to have some means of defending themselves. Pepper spray is a good start so long as it's the right kind.
