I borrowed from everyone trying to get through my last year in class. I had a dream when I was 15 of escaping my life and being a Doctor. My father was extremely upset that I did not want to get into the family business. But I hated it, and did not want it as part of my life.
What was the family business? I have the impression that it was a restaurant. How is their business doing today? What part of America are you from? What attracted you to Canada? Do you think life is better here in Canada than in the US?

I saw what being in the family business did to my parents. Not for me. I would rather be anything else. I could not stay in the US on a student Visa is I was not a student. I am not even certain how I could get back home to work as a waitress.
So, you are not an American citizen -- I thought you were from the States and came to Canada. If you need a student Visa to be in the US and you are being charged foreign visa student rates in Canada then it doesn't sound like you are a citizen of either country? I'm just curious. Where exactly are you from?

Some do. Like being a Doctor. A liberal arts degree in under water basket weaving does not. lol
Okay, I get that. You want to be a doctor. That means you need a science degree undergraduate. And, I know that is brutal. The worst decision I've made in my life was to ever take any science course because I thought it would be like high-school when I aced it in OAC. How did your GPA average go? Have you been accepted into a medical college? Professional colleges are extremely difficult to get into due to the competition and you need high GPA's and volunteer experience.

Liberal Arts programs were allot easier. What university did you go to?

mrsCALoki said:
They all cost money. I had bursaries that covered almost all my costs till last year.
Why didn't they work last year? Were bursaries scholarships or based on financial aid? Why did the bursaries stop last year?

I do not like masturbation. It is a lonely empty thing.
I know, it was just a technical question about orgasm. So, you never had an orgasm in your life then? Not from your six bfs or clients, or from yourself? Could that be a medical condition? Did you consult a doctor about it? It does sound serious.

My father drove into me that if you had to ask for charity you are a failure. I know that in Canada it is not seen that way. I see it that way if I look in a mirror. A beggar in many countries is seen as something worse than in whore.
Does your father knew what you did?

I wonder if all the welfare guys who are clients are offended by me,
I guess if a guy on welfare paid for time with you and as a result had to use the food-bank or get behind on their rent and found out their money contributed to
$ 40 000 in under a month they would probably feel bad. Did you see allot of clients on welfare to make that much money? I guess you wouldn't know because they wouldn't admit it. But would that change your opinion if you skimmed off allot of poor clients to make that money -- I mean after all, they helped you.

But, hey as long as they got what they want, a thrill, or whatever fun they paid for it's all good.

Wine, No idea, I would never ask. I was in school in NY state. Canada has legal prostitution. I do not know either country well enough to comment.

I did my boards already. All done with the classroom part.

Most universities give bursaries based on how much money they bring in. When the economy tanks less donations, and more important less revenue on bursary investments. At least that is what I was told.

I had none, but I have had several orgasms a week since I quit being an SP. Problem gone.

What type of doctor do you wish to specialize in? Do you want to be a surgeon or something else?

Do you see yourself SPing again if you hit a rough spot?

Ya and thats means something ??/I don't know how she can demand anyone leave this thread... she's got an ignore button doesn't she?
Easy there. She just said he was creeping the fuck out of her. I told him to leave the thread. Not actually thinking he will, cuz really what else does he have going on in his life? I just like saying 'kindly leave'

we all have a right to be here unless Moderators feel otherwise. That's not up to us to decide who belongs and who doesn't. she's driving me nuts... but that's why there's an ignore button.
Fair enough. He's a creepy fuck though. I guess that's what the ignore function is for

I actually went through two full rotations after I did my broads, I just decided to be a full time wife instead of a working wife. Why is that wrong?
Wait you were in medical school?!!!???

What kind of grant did you run out of for medical school. Typically that's not grants are for. If I remember your "story" correctly you mentioned that your grant ran out.

And that you didn't want to borrow money from your family???? Even financial institutes would not have trouble lending money to someone well into medical school they know you are good for it. And same goes for your family. Hell at the very least they could have cosigned a loan for you.

I dunno Loki your story is kinda fishy.....actually really fishy.

You decide to be a housewife when being that close to being a dr? You certainly have the time and money for it now. IF you were a dr you wouldn't have to worry about Mr Loki's fidelity because you could actually provide very nicely for yourself.

What was writing the MCAt like? What were your scores. Tell us something about MCATs that you couldn't just google.

So now for those keeping score at home we have a medical student, turned $500/h hooker, who marries a rich client and now sits at home surfing terb. Bullshit.

Yes, maybe you can start your own Bible-study club with them where you can talk about which fleshlights are the best and which soup kitchens serve the best creamy tomato soup
I see, so anyone who disagrees with you should leave this thread, or anyone who challenges the logic of an absurd statement should leave the thread? That's right, have a new label for creeps, there always has to be a scapegoat. I'm a conveniant scape-goat because I'm different.

MissCALoki made a statement about people on welfare, or begging for charity is worst than being a hor....so I've creeped her out for challenging the absurdity of that logic.

Now, tell me, mur11, why do you think I would remain in this thread if I was just ignored by the only person who represents a challenge to me? I'm satisfied that I've won over MissCALoki and I'm victorious because I believe I've defeated her logic. She claimed she had no other options, I challenged it. She claimed being a begger is worst than a hor, I challenged it. There is only one person who can remain on the log and that person is me she fell off as far as I'm concerned the minute she put me on ignore. I do not judge her, I just challenge her logic.

So, I'll get off the log since there is no one else since the game is over. There is no more challenge on this board -- missCALoki almost had me fooled she could keep up a worthy intellectual discussion. There is no-one else who challenges me here. I will leave this thread.

Today harvard costs 47K and they mention quite a bit about financial aid.

However, maybe being Canadian probably messes that up.

Which then begs the question why didn't she apply to a Canadian med school instead which is far cheaper than the US counterparts. Granted it is not cheap.
