divorce in ON?

I am planning to file a divorce, any idea how quickly I can have divorce and remarry again with a gf whom I love from my heart? looks quite long process in case of friendly divorce....
any suggestion?

I think a short to the point answer would be...unless you want to accuse her of adulty or abuse, then you can procede faster, you separate for one year, at this time she has no say in the filing, you file, takes about 3 months to work it's way through the system, 30 days after you recieve your answer it is offial, you can marry the next day....BUT!!!you wanna do it again so soon????????

You are correct if this thread was referring to USA as this is a legal requirement in most states. Canada will accept a foreign jurisdiction ruling on the matter without questionning. Canadians can get divorce in any jurisdiction they want (same goes for marriage).

No, you idiot. I'm a lawyer. I have been doing exactly this stuff for 30 years.

Definitely speak to a lawyer but try the mediation route to keep things from getting too acrimonious.
