Dimming The Lights

Every so often, I'll see an SP who asks to dim the lights before the action starts. I'm very visual and like to see who I'm fucking, and hate to fumble around in the dark, so to speak. This is really a matter of etiquette. On the one hand, I want the lady to feel comfortable and at ease during the time she spends with me. On the other hand, I'm the one who's paying, and I feel that turning the lights down will detract from my enjoyment of the session.

Furthermore, it's not as though I'm turning on spotlights or anything -*lol* It's just the overhead light in the bedroom that's on. I really can't see it being intrusive, and the lady did not give a reason for her request either. So, who's right here?? Should I give in to a similar request in the future, or firmly state that I would prefer to leave the lights on??

I welcome responses from both SPs and fellow hobbyists.

Maybe we could judge better if it's a reasonable request by her if you posted a picture of yourself.

I prefer lights on. Fortunately, I've got dimmers so I can find a happy medium.

I have a dimmer switch on my wall too, but it is definatly up to the guy how he wants it. If I ask I always say, how do you like the lights? I say it is definatly to set the mood for the man as all men are different. A little bit but not always, I think that the mans choice in light setting tells a bit about his character previously in bed as well. I also think red lightbulbs can be so hot. I also remember getting told by my Dad once when he seen I had red bulbs that red lights in a womans place means that she is a woman of the night. lol

I usually have a head lamp strapped to my head like the miners wear. She can turn the lights off if she wants but I need to see what I am doing, and where I am going. LOL

In my young age, I still have trouble finding the right hole...that miners hat does wonders for me...LOL

In all seriousness...it is your choice as long as the girl is comfortable with it, and doesn't mind it on. If she really wants it off to the point where it effect her performance then it will be turned off. The reson for them wanting it off, is maybe cause they don't to see too much, or maybe they don't want top remember the session like us guys do. I mean clients have these sessions and file them away in the jerk off files for later. These SP's sometimes just want to get it over with. For me, it is about 50/50 some have wanted it on, some have wanted it off. I don't care, as long as I have my miners hat.

Well, it's all depending on how you look at it.

I for one enjoy it with the lights on, but I remember an SP telling me that one time, she met someone at a hotel and he had a VideoCam hidden.

That really got her pissed, so when she meets "new" clientele they will have to accept that until they become frequent with her.

I see her point, but "yes" it does spoil the mood a tad bit.

I had two sessions with the same lady; one with dim lighting (her choice) the other during the day. The dim lighted session was much hotter. I guess she likes less light....or I look REALLY bad?????
