bollock,
I don't care how many showers you take, if you don't put something under your pits, you must have a job where you work alone. Now, given that we all take showers, especially before an erotic encounter, can we try again for an answer?

Is there something that smells good and tastes good too? This could be a marketing opportunity.
Horse pucky, sir. People smell like people, and not even very much like that if their shower was recent and thorough. Covering up a bad smell with a nicer one ignores the fact that you've got a flourishing colony of stinky bacteria that you should deal with, not disguise.

If us male-hunters of the species actually did smell that bad, we'd have starved to death on our earliest expeditions. And never reproduced.

Decorating with scent can be fun and attractive, but do not claim it's a necessity.

Well since you asked, I did come across something by accident. I recently had a lady at the house and we both had a quick shower before hitting the sack. I stsrted going down on her and found that she had a reallt pleasant taste to her skin. I realized it sort of reminded me of my shower get so I asked her she had used it because it tasted really pretty good for soap. She admitted that she had so I said "here lick my balls and tell me if you can taste a little coffee/chocolate along with the soap". So she did and she agreed that she could and that it was pretty good.

The stuff was an AXE shower gel called Dark Intensity ( I think - or something very close to that). Now we had both just had showers so I can't vouch for how long it lasts but we both liked the taste over just plain soap.

Ok... seriously... How am I the only one who knows the answer to this?

Got stinky balls? Got stinky feet? Don't like traditional deodorants? Try a health food store or usually the bottom shelf at shoppers, etc.

Those deodorant crystals are made for stuff like this. Just be wise and get different ones for different areas (underarm, feet, and nether regions as needed).

http://www.thecrystal.com/ - Go with the original rock style and just use it as you are getting out of the shower... You just rub it all over the wet area, and pat dry. It works. If using another brand just look for the aluminum free stuff. It's a salt crystal.

Now... just a fyi... If you are transitioning your under arm stuff as well... Your previous product may have left a residue you had NO idea about. Use either vinegar, or honey & brown sugar (to lightly scrub the area), or one of those clarifying shampoos for swimming, or rubbing alcohol to cut through the residue under your arm. If it gets on the crystal wash it with soap... lightly. The residue other things leave will make you go... UGH... WTF! But hey... years of using things ads up. You don't get it all off when you wash.

Next... Be aware that washing with soaps that contain creams or scents in that area can make that area smell worse. Go with an unscented one. I think I should add something here... Antibacterial is fine but do yourself a favour and simply have a bar that is unscented for that area and enjoy what you normally use for the rest of you. If you need incentive to have a new bar let me put it like this. How many of you simply slide the bar all over yourself. If you don't then do you know for sure no one else does with your soap. Now let me ask if you wash your face with the same bar. Just saying!

I have never had an odor problem of any sort in my life. I can only speculate that there may be three reasons for people to stink even after repeated washings.

1) I have encountered ethnic people that smell of spices, cumin being one of them. I suspect an excessive consumption of these spices to be the cause.
2) The second cause might be a build up of stinking sweat that is marinating your feet, under arms and nether regions. The smell does not have a chance to vacate. Using the same damp shoes every day does not help either.
3) It may be a medical reason why a person would stink. There may be some fungal infection or other skin abnormality that can be very serious.

Wash out the offending areas and let it dry out properly. I have encountered people in public that stink, and I am sure they walk around in their sweat rags for days maybe even weeks.

It's AXE Dark Temptation. I've had complements on it as well.

women have baby wipes designed especially for masking an odor. I have found that many uncut men have a horrible smell coming from the nether regions regardless if they have just showered or not.
I'm an uncut man-- The biggest single reason for that is yeast. If you are uncut and you have a bad funk it's probably yeast. Since I became sexually mature any time I've noticed a funk I've used a generic yeast infection cream. It works. Beyond that if an uncut guy guy uses warm soap and water under the hood once a day, and pats dry, there should be no issues. The thing to remember is, if you're uncut and you have yeast, MAKE SURE YOUR S.O. GOES ON ANTI-YEST MEDS AS WELL, or you'll just pass that shit back and forth. (And consider more yogurt or acidophiles (sp) pills FOR HER.)

For men in general, if you wash with soap and water once a day, and still have a persistent funk down below, there is probably something else going on. Have you tried a yeast infection cream on your genitals and anus even if you're uncut? Yeast infection cream is a general anti-fungal. It kills funk good. Read the directions and use the cream for the specified number of days (or 1 or 2 more). Make sure you get the head (and under the hood if you're uncut), the shaft, the balls, all the way around on your taint, and up in your bum. Don't be shy. After that consider working yogurt (flora) and cranberry juice (urinary tract) into your diet. As a free bonus the runoff might also tame your athlete's foot when you wash in the shower (fungus, uugh).

Try more fiber, fruits and vegetables, yogurt (flora), and cranberry juice (urinary tract), AND LESS FAST FOOD over a period of months. Trim you're pubes (shaving risks infection and STIs between agitation, nicks, and exposed follicles). Have you ever had that STI / STD test? Get one.

Masking funk isn't a solution, unless you're one of the few people who just plain stink. Oh, and all those teenager and 20-something body sprays, and the associated product lines, are 100% pure shit.

Good point about the yeast. Easy for it to be transferred between both males and females. Females develop it from washing overdone rather than underdone as good bacteria gets depleted.

Sweaty balls does create a scent because of the bacteria. In summer I shave and although it now sticks to your legs there is no odour.

I sometimes open an acidophilus pill and dust the area with it's contents.

Increase internal intake of probiotics and if there is a yeast infection and you don't want to use canestan etc, try some yogurt or contents of a probiotic pill in a condom.

The bacteria that causes odors can get int the cracks of the skin and are not easily washed away. Under my left arm smells when I sweat but not under my right arm which is also sweaty.

Meant to experiment with shaving under my arms as I've seen other guys do but haven't gotten to it.

I just use a paper towel to take away excess moisture after showering and stand in front a fan a bit while I airdry.

I don't use antiperspirant because of the aluminum but use deodorant. Right guard with triclosan right after showering and then degree, mitchum, arrid etc when getting dressed.

My bro uses the salt crystal and says it works fine for him. Forms a barrier between your skin and odor causing bacteria.

I agree with the foods and spices thing that cause odors too.

Some people have ailments that make them susceptible to body odors.

Surprised no one has mentioned this but you should NOT be using baby powder or deodorant/antiperspirant on your balls on a regular basis. The former contains (IIRC) aluminum and the latter has all sorts of chemicals that should not be put on your baby makers. Armpits are one thing (and the research is still out on whether or not its harmful to you over the long term) but your balls are something else.
