Pavano has always had good stuff, he's been hurt and had a little bad luck. He pitched well in the playoffs and WS for the Marlins last year. He's just not proven himself as an AL pitcher. Afterall, the Cardinals were supposed to having good pitching and they got hammered by Boston. Pavano might be worth what he signed for in the NL but we'll see if he deserves that money in the AL.
Jaret Wright is a big gamble. Sometimes guys just have one good year and then they're done.
Rumor out of Boston was that the Sox were trying to get rid of Millar and Mienkewitcz and then sign Delgado, but now they need pitching bad so thats probably not gonna happen...
